Is this a new feature? My daughter listed three things and almost immediately one was "reserved". I've never seen that before and looked it up. Evidently a buyer can hold something in their shopping cart for 6 minutes-once the time is uo someone else can purchase but it will remain in their cart until that happens or they remove it.
I never saw that before. Then again, haven't sold anything there in a couple of weeks.

It must be new. I was just looking and saw a handbag with the reserved tag on it. I waited a few minutes and refreshed and it was no longer there.
Might be nice to create a sense of urgency in other buyers?

I thought it was to have someone "pull the trigger" and buy quickly. IDK; my daughter got excited-evidently the same person "reserved " twice, then changed her mind.
I've shopped on sites (Neiman's or Nordstrom daily deals maybe) and I think they do the same thing. Apparently Tradesy will be experimenting with strategies to emulate other sites.
Bleh.
