I had a customer complain about a bag I sold on Tradesy. Does anyone know how it works with them for returns? I provided buyer with the customer service number because I think she needs to contact them first. I am not sure if she is trying to say not as described or just wants to return. Will Tradesy contact me?
Thanks

Tradesy will put a hold on the funds. If you check out the Tradesy board you'll find a few threads about returns there.
They put a hold on the funds and have the buyer send it back to them. They inspect it and either send it back to you or try to sell it themselves.

They only put money on hold if buyer claims it's not as described. Then they put money on hold, inspect it after buyer returns an item to Tradesy and if they decide it really is NAD they will take you money and ship item back to you at no charge. If it's a regular return for fit/buyer's remorse etc you will never even hear about it. As to if Tradesy will inform you... they have NEVER informed me of anything. Two times I've had NAD returns there, they would just put a hold on my account with no communication.

Tradesy always informs me if someone is returning something because of a NAD reason and inspects and decides if (nots really NAD) and they sell it (I keep my money) or NAD and they return it to me (and take the money out of my account). It has only happened a couple of times. I think they are fair about it, although this very expensive bracelet I sold was def not NAD but they returned it to me. I think it was such an off beat item that they weren't sure they could re-sell.

You see, she searched for size 18/20 shirts on Tradesy and mine came up and she bought it. Now she says it's SNAD, because when she searches for 18/20 she expects to get 2X and my shirt is 1X. All because of screwed up size system they have there, the only option to list 1X is to say it's "1X (Plus 20)". And this is why she shirt is NAD and they are holding my money. And as always, there is ZERO communication from Tradesy. I have not received an email from them.

Did she write directly to you to tell you that? If she returns to Tradesy, they may not consider it NAD due to sizing. You can write to their CS reps and explain the problem. They do answer. You can write to team@tradesy.com. I think that's the right address.
