I just now saw the "Like" button. I didn't realize I can like posts on here.
So, I want to apologize if it appeared that I didn't like anything that everybody was saying. I should have read the instructions first, but somehow I just never do.

Just wanted to say "Hi" to all people that came after me (and before me, too, of course) CCL here, too, but also CDL (crazy dog lover) and CBL (crazy bird lover), I guess we have half a zoo in our house with the cat, the dogs, the bird. But, thankfully, they all get along very well. Thanks all for the warm welcomes! Gabi, what kind of bird do you have? I am a CBL too. I have a flock of 6 cockatiels ranging in age from 5 months to 27 years old, they are quite a group of characters. Birds are like cats and potato chips you cannot have just one, lol. I am allergic to dogs and cats but still love them and cuddle just have to wash and take antihistamine after playing with them.

Allikat, I have a cockatiel. (Only one) I don't know how old she is. She was "donated" to the Nursing Home I used to work at years ago from family members of a resident that had passed away. I hadn't planned on owning a bird, but I got so mad when I saw what they did with her. They put her in the window with the beating sun. When I complained, they put her in a cold, dark corner of the library. Finally I just "kidnapped" her and took her home. I think they were just glad to have her gone. That was about 6 years ago, and she appeared to be up there in age already. Now she is my listing buddy, sitting next to my desk all day. I didn't plan on owning a cat either, she was given to me from someone that found her as a kitten outside in January. I am in New England, so it was freezing cold. I guess I just can't say no. With the dogs, well, you can't just have one, either. They are inseparable. The cat was already a bit older when we got the dogs, even though they were already bigger than her when they were puppies, she adopted them as her "babies" and she still acts as if she's their mother.

I cannot say no either, lol. I have 4 rescue cockatiels, one that we got on purpose and one baby that my rescue bonded pair had last August, they have laid about 100 eggs with no babies and the bam one morning peep, peep. I really didn't need another bird but there is no way I could have given her away. No more babies at all and I am at my max for rescue birds too. I am always amazed at how throw away some people think animals are, it breaks my heart. I have one rule once a bird arrives at my house it is here forever.

Hello. Just joined today. I'm not currently selling actively, but planning to get back into it part time to supplement our income for some purchases we would like to make. Hopefully I will get motivated soon. I have way to many ideas and plans in my head, but not enough action after a 40 to 50 hour work week.
3 cat / 1 dog / 1 DS22 family on 25 acre timber farm. We love the life we have finally started to achieve.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello and introduce myself. My "real" name is Kay. My ebay id is kaybrogers and store name is Classy Fashions. Looked around the group and saw quite a few familiar faces. Great to be here.
I sold my first item on ebay in 2002. Started full time after a divorce/relocation late 2010. So, knocking on five years of full time selling. Love the whole process. Just bought a new to me home and relocated once again. I have three children, but only one is still at home. He just completed his Basic Training this past fall and is an Army Reservist. I have two daughters. And am proud grammy to three.
Looking forward to being a part of the group.

Hi everyone!
I'm MissCan; better known by the e-Bay username mis76can.
I live in Western Canada....where it is freezing right now!!
I've been mostly a buyer on e-Bay, but I'm probably going to become active on the selling side; as I have accumulated a surplus of fashion items through e-Bay. My closet is overloaded.
My greatest weaknesses are vintage dresses - specifically minis and floral prints - and heeled dress sandals. I luuuuuv to flaunt; but for those of you who don't know me, you'll soon discover that I also have a weakness for anything fuzzy and furry.
I welcome all tips on selling as well as opinions on the fashions I purchase and wear.
I look forward to being part of your group.

Welcome from another rust belt native! I grew up in Pittsburgh, lived in San Francisco for 13 years then moved back. There's something special about this part of the world...It's the pierogies. I haven't had a good one since I left.

For awhile I worked with a navy wife whose husband was from Pittsburgh. When his mother came to visit and made pierogies she brought some in for me. They were the only homemade pierogies I've had in 20 years. No one else in the house has ever had pierogies and they didn't get to taste those either. I kept them all for myself and ate them when no one else was home.

I used to work at Jeannette Glass (where that beautiful glassware was made). There was a church by that company that sold home-made pierogies that were absolutely to die for.

Thank you for all the welcomes. Ahrn, we aren't in logging. We own a tract of land that we have enrolled in a forest management program. We have to maintain the forest and work on improving its health. Eventually, we will have a timber sale which will make us some money while thinning out the older trees to help improve the health of the land. In the meantime, we are "timber farm" status in the eyes of the government, which provides us some tax benefits. Shirly, that is Kili (pronounced Keelee, like Kili and Fili from The Hobbit - my husband named them) as my avatar. Her sister Fili was elsewhere when that photo was taken. Both are about 90 to 95% black with tortoiseshell markings. Fili has blonde (tan) "eyebrows", thus she was named after the blonde dwarf. Kili's face is pretty much all black and she looks mostly black other than a couple pair of tan/white boots, and a few brown flecks here and there. They are our mostly outdoor cats. They come in when the weather is really cold. Since they are sisters, they sleep together either in the pole barn/garage or in their house with the heated bed during mild cold. They are both super sweet but with different personalities. Kili is the hunter... rarely does a day go by that we don't find a vole on the porch... right next to her food bowl. Payment? The other day it was a starling she used as payment. Fili is a little more playful, but she'll stalk something that catches her eye, if something else doesn't distract her!
