I received an offer at Tradesy for a dress. I don't think I ever had one before. But this is the message on the sale page:
Our Trust Team is reviewing the deal before the sale goes through. When its approved, you'll get a sale confirmation notification.
Is that standard on all offers or something new? And then at the bottom where it would say sale completed it says sale pending.
Thanks for any help. After what Makin went thru I really don't want to contact them. I hope they know what they are doing?

I don't accept offers so I don't know what that is about. What do they have to review if you've accepted someone's offer? But the bottom will always say sale Pending until their system detects the first post office scan and then it will say Completed.

I just got a sale held for them to inspect because the buyer complained. So, I have a handful of sales all month and one return. Terrific.

That stinks Frakin. I have not been listing over there for the last two weeks. They are definitely pro buyer and have way too many kinks to work through.
They want us to make sure we are describing things correctly and they can't even get the title right. I'm just going to see how things go for the next few weeks before I invest anymore time.
Yeah the sales are nice. But the whole time I've been selling there which is about 2 years or so,my sales don't even add up to one weeks worth of sales on Ebay.

I received an offer of $12 on a $25 bra that retails for $65..........from a woman that sells Michael Kors & Kate Spade bags at top dollar.
I was going to ask her if she'd sell me a bag at half price:-)
I'm starting to cringe when I sell something costly there and I feel of you Frakin. I don't sell a lot of pricey items on eBay anymore

Offer her a straight trade. It's just as important to corral the girls as to carry around your wallet.

I don't sell a lot of pricey items on eBay anymore I'm in a poopy situation there right now, only its due to their labels. Some people are just criminally cheap. Yeah, do the trade! I'm still not sure if listing on Tradesy is worth it. I've sold all of 13 items there in a year. I just use it as a mirror site, but the work still needs to be done. I have a feeling that if this sale goes belly up, they'll just mask my sales and that will be it insofar as further sales there.

Update on this-- apparently they recognized her as a buyer who lies. The item was marked "refunded" but they didn't take back my money. So I guess they will resell it and just gave her Tradesy credit because her SNAD was bogus. That gives me a scintilla of hope for these folks.

There's no way their business module can be sustained; especially with their exponential growth. Shop Hers was the same (regarding returns) and they went under. It's fair to ascertain that all theses savvy internet buyers know the work around to get what they want. they'll find a way to get their refund rather than credit.
I should have asked to trade the 50% discount with her overpriced hand bags.
I've had several that asked for a lower price because "that's all I have in my account."
Still, I do not understand Tradesy's method of determining what funds should be held "for inspection" and which can be immediately dispersed after shipping. For sure, the crazies and scammers have migrated. I'm thankful if and when I have a sale there-even priced low, they all want it cheaper.

Many of these buyers would never do this in real life. The anonymity the internet affords allows a comfort factor to "stretch the truth".most of these buyers would not have to chutzpah to walk in to a brick and mortar to pull the crap they do on the internet.

Tradesy accepts returns for any reason. They return money for SNAD (and take it back from the seller) or they take the return, resell the item themselves and give the buyer store credit. I don't know if they gave my buyer a money refund or their "refund" was in store credit. I hope they keep this policy as it's more than fair to sellers, especially if they are honest about it which they were in this case. I get the feeling that they won't let this buyer lie twice and still be able to buy from their site.

I'd bet buyers lie less too when they know that it is being "officially" reviewed by an "authority" figure.
