This is the return where the buyer chose 'not as described' but in the message said it was for fit, and I had to call to get the defect removed.
I approved the return request on 2/2 and got a "Buyer Shipped" message on 2/9. I checked the tracking the day before yesterday and it showed "in Transit" (it still does), and I messaged the buyer saying I just wanted to let her know that I do not have the item back yet and didn't want her to think I was lagging on the refund. She did not respond.
I just noticed that the tracking # is a UPS tracking #, not USPS. When I enter the tracking in UPS, it says "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later. "
Do you think this means she hasn't shipped it? What will happen if I do nothing, and just leave the return open?
With the SNAD defect having been removed, I am not sure if she can still give me another one through FB which is the only reason I'm a little concerned about it. Her initial message was a little rude.

Not that I am a cynic, but "perhaps" she thought that all she had to do was enter a tracking number and the refund would appear in her account.
No sense in actually going through the pain of actually sending the return.

That's what I was considering too.
I don't know how UPS tracking works because I don't use it, but it just says "In Transit" when I click from the return request. No details about what city it's in like we usually see from USPS. Usually USPS won't say it's in transit unless the PO has already scanned it, not sure if UPS is the same.
When I copied and pasted the tracking # into UPS site, I got that 'could not locate details' error.
eBay is pretty adamant that the sender is responsible for the item being delivered, hopefully that still applies when the sender is a buyer.
