Some guy hit my car and took off. I got his license number and called the police, now he's trying to say it was my fault. I'm ok but my car is all dented in, and his insurance called me wanting to know why I hit him and took off. Also, he is such a little pansy boy that he had his mommy call in the fraudulent report to the insurance. God Bless him and his lying momma!

Yuck. What did the police say about his story? I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope it works out for you and he gets hit for leaving the scene of an accident.

Sickening! And that's probably the story he told his mother, so she doesn't know she's committing fraud. Nice boy.
Where on the car is your damage?

Um, if you hit him and you took off, why would you call the police? Point that out to his stupid insurance company next time they call.

That sucks.
Check in the area it happened and see if any of the businesses have security cameras.
Sometimes they will show the street and you might luck into having a video of what happened.
When they called in the report did they have your license number? Probably not because that would be hard to get when you are fleeing. Since you had his plate number it boosts your case that he hit you and fled.

Thanks everyone. I feel better today. The police know he lied, because when they came to him he was trying to clean up the paint off his car and initially denied any involvement. Then he changed it to say I hit him. I did tell the lady at his insurance that she should check the police report before talking to me like that, as I was the one who did the report, and I gave her the number. The police officer is waiting to obtain a video from a delivery truck that was in the area. I was stopped in an intersection and the fool made a wide right and hit my fender. So if I had hit him, my car would have had to have been driving in a sideways motion. He is a grown-azz man, so I don't know why he has his mommy making false reports for him. I'd like to see him charged with hit and run, and if possible additional charges for the false reports.
he got my info from the police officer, who had told him to exchange info with me since it was a fender bender. Instead of doing that, he had his mama make the false report. So I know the police officer is not happy about it. I called him to let him know immediately after I got off the phone with the guy's insurance. The insurance co wouldn't even tell me who made the report against me, even though he had all my info. My insurance is treating it like a hit and run on his part like it really is.

Which is his insurance company? They always say not to admit fault, but this is taking a bit far.
I thought I heard that hit and runs are 12 point tickets.
Good luck with this jerk. Sorry it happened.

Sounds like you are doing everything right. Don't worry, the accident investigators will be able to figure out what happened. Still, what a PITA. Sorry you are dealing with it.

My guess would be that Mr Pansy A has done this before. I bet he was scared and that's how mommy is involved. Don't worry my DH had the same problem with an old lady and the cop's report straightened it all out for the insurance. You be fine!

I agree, the police can recreate the accident and show you arent at fault. Actually, the insurance companies have someone who can do it too. Have you called YOUR insurance? If not, I might suggest you do. Let them fight with the other company for you.

Why can't people just own up to the problems they create? Now he has even more problems to deal with. Would have been much easier to just go with the truth. Sorry he did this to you.

Azzhole! There is a good possibility that he may have been drunk if that's the way he handled it. DWI or OWI or whatever each state/locale calls it is a MUCH stiffer offense then leaving the scene of an accident aka hit and run.
I'm actually surprised he had insurance.
