I am not 100% sure what the group actually does, but I agree with Gucci and MK, Alibaba being a member does not bode well.

I was wondering too but then - by joining ebay would be kinda saying they're gonna 'do' something about fakes but since they claim safe harbor they can't.

Maybe eBay thought if they joined, they'd have to ban Chinese sellers in order to ban fakes, and there goes half the website....
