I posted earlier a little about this but I want to find out if anybody else is having this problem.
I have never had a return issue in 2 years selling... NOT ANY... on Tradesy until now.
The last few items I sold all got payment holds for buyer returning. The 4th one just came tonight.
I am freaking out.....WTH IS GOING ON???

I read some online reviews and it does look like buyers now may be pushing more returns. They don't want just credit so they will claim a problem.
Why am I not surprised. Hope it's not a sign of more to come. *time for a hard drink*

I had one held for a return. I didn't even realize it until the buyer and I had worked it out. I sent her the wrong size shoes and just sent the correct ones. Tradesy didn't notify me and just held my money until I asked what was up.

I am glad you were able to work it out so quick. I hope I can get this straightened out, it seems unreal. I have always liked the site, this sucks!

This sounds dumb but exactly how are they holding your funds?
When I sell something I have been getting the money almost the same day I ship. I have it transferred the same day too.
Do they go into your Paypal account?

Do they go into your Paypal account?" Yes I have always gotten paid that way too. The last few items have holds placed awaiting inspection review. The first finished and the funds were released back to my account, the second one reviewed today and I got an email stating the belt was missing which I sent as it was attached to the coat, that is all I know so far.

What does "don't want just credit" mean? Does Tradesy not give buyers a refund on returns?

What does "don't want just credit" mean? Does Tradesy not give buyers a refund on returns? If the item is misrepresented the buyer gets a refund, if it is buyer's remorse they get store credit.

Oh boy. That's not good. Sounds like the scammer eBay buyers have discovered Tradesy.

Except, buyers send the item back to Tradesy, who inspects it. As long as it is as described the buyer gets credit and Tradesy sells the piece.
I can see a few examples of a buyer doing something (like keeping a belt) to claim NAD but it cant happen in all cases?
