I moved a bit over a week ago and when I reopened my store, I went into addresses and changed to my new address everywhere I could. So now the return address on my eBay shipping labels are correct, but I just noticed that the originating zip code on the label in the upper left corner still has my old zip code.
Anyone know where I need to go to get that changed? I'm sure my new PO won't be happy to be mailing my packages with a zip code other than theirs as they don't get credit for it that way.
TIA!

When you go to print a label in Ebay, there's a check box to change address, check that & when it opens the window, there's a separate field for 'ship from zip code'. I can't remember where it is in PP, but it's the same setup, a ship from zip code in a separate field. I'll be moving soon but I'm not gonna bother changing it cuz I don't even know if I'll change PO's (it's a mile away but a different PO). I use the drive up & never interact with a human, city PO's don't really care, but if you have a small town PO &/or you deal with a human, they may care.
I maintain that their internal accounting is not my problem :-)

Just wanted to mention that you can also change your name to your ebay name or store name as your "ship from" name. It looks better than your personal name on the shipping label, and keeps your personal name away from buyers. I think Val told us that a long time ago on GMM and I changed it in the ebay name registration address section.
I get so many ebay packages from the selllers personal name - never figured out why they never change it.

THat ship from field comes in handy if you're headed out on a trip and have to take stuff with you to ship, too. You still use your own return address but enter the zip where you're visiting as the ship from zip. It will calculate postage based on that for you.

I had no idea! With my name being so unusual, I'm going to do this, thanks!

I can't thank you enough for that special little tidbit! It took me all of a few seconds to change it under my eBay account settings for the primary 'ship from' address!! It's bugged me forever about using my actual name instead of my store name... 2 pkg going out today with the name change!
