I normally run a few auctions every week to help (or not) traffic. Since there was a promotion I did more than normal. Twice, I've had buyers win the bid and immediately write and tell me they A. Changed their mind and B. didn't read the listing and it was the wrong size.
What a waste of my time!

Am I wrong? Can't the buyer send a request to cancel? I asked bozo A to send me a request, she says there's no place for her to do it.

I don't know if there's a place for a buyer to send a request to cancel, buy I had to cancel a transaction yesterday and one of the reasons they give you to check says something to the effect of "cancel at buyers request or there's a problem with the buyer's address". About an hour later I got an email from eBay telling how wonderful I was and to spend more money listing: You canceled an order from xxxxxxx, and we already notified them. You already refunded the buyer for this order, so you're all set. Thanks for canceling this order for the buyer.
You'll get a final value fee credit in your account that you can apply toward listing more items to sell on eBay My buyer didn't ask me to cancel the order. They gave me a bad address. Yay for accuracy eBay.

I had to get up early this morning and one of the buyers sent a cancel request! I guess they CAN do it greybear! I suppose I'll send the other one a request, which she will probably ignore and my item will have to sit for a while. GRRRRRR!

I thought they were pretty awful too. No cancellers but not too many bids overall.

OMG, I just got another note from a buyer that has a bid on an active auction. She has 35 FB and must be a seller since she says Ebay took out their "percentage" and now she has no money to pay for it so please end it and relist it. These people are nuts!

Oh GEEZ! My auctions weren't so hot either. Thankfully, of those that did sell, mine buyers have all paid.

I detest auctions for clothing, but decided to go ahead and do some under the 'speshul' to test the waters. Two items with tiny flaws...
Out of 9 listings, I have green on 1 with 2 bids/2 watchers, and 1 watcher on two other items, which all end late tomorrow night. Just basic B&B; shouldn't be any problems.

50 listed, 2 sold, neither paid for yet. Also waiting for payment on a BO and just closed a NPB on a BO - do they think BO is some sort of guess the correct price, win a prize game? Please remember to report those idiots who cancelled on you.

Fashion, they've all been reported. I do about 5 auctions a week unless I'm trying to get rid of something and I'll send those to auction with a deep discount. I never expect those 5 to sell and most times they don't but I have noticed more traffic since I've started running those. The listing special lured me in and it was epic fail. When I sell something I expect to get paid and until Ebay can fix that I probably won't participate in auctions on that scale again.

You all will swear I'm lying but I just got another one! I have a bid on a dress that says in the title and the IS and the body of the listing that it's an 8 Petite. The word Petite is written out, I didn't use 8P. It's written out in all three places. This is her note:
I am sorry but didn't realize it was petite and the dress will never fit so please cancel my bid .thanks
She is not a seller right now, but has over 2000 FB
What say you, cancel or make her retract?

What say you, cancel or make her retract? I would cancel and block. IMO it's just not worth the time to go back and forth about retracting since she'd just say the reason is that you changed the listing. *I* would block because well, I get cranky that way.

I feel like in some sort of Ebay twilight zone! I've blocked and removed her bid.
