I have 2 items that were listed before the postage change that just sold.
They each weigh 15.0 ounces, and I had them at Priority. I could now ship them via First Class and save the buyer $$.
But then, won't the shipping day requirement be over since usually First Class takes longer to arrive?

I have never once found that FC takes longer. All my pkgs, regardless of type get there in 2 days. Even Media Mail gets there fast. However, I would NOT do what you're saying for 2 reasons, 1 it won't be cheaper for your buyer, see long, long thread explaining that Ebay is actually charging it at Priority rates due to a programming error or programming-that's-the-way-it-is, depending on your POV.
Plus, I would not change the shipping method cuz as a buyer, if I feel I paid you for Priority & you sent it FC, I'd be pissed. I've negged people for doing that & pocketing the difference before. But like I said, it won't be cheaper for your buyer any way due to the problem with 14-16 oz, though YOU will be charged less. The crux of the problem is buyer is being charged at PM rates, seller is being charged at the new FC rates. There are 2 threads that go into detail.

I would just ship it as listed and keep going.

Thanks Zoe....I didn't take that into consideration. I thought it was just another glitch.
I did mail both packages via Priority.
