Let's be prepared. It's always so time consuming and such a mess. It should be out soon. I am cleaning my office and doing some inventory over the next couple of weeks. Every update is such a time suck. First you have to interpret the mess, discuss, let it sink in. Then there are always a bunch of changes to be made. I can't imagine what they are going to do to us this time.

I was wondering about that too. Didn't someone say that CS told them there were changes coming that we'd like? That makes me really nervous. When does that usually happen... isn't it in March sometime?

It looks great until you dig deeper and find out we are getting screwed again.

I've been thinking about the updates too. Wondering what's coming. I sooo hope they will make changes in INR claims so we don't have to call if tracking is uploaded and shows delivered. That's such a ridiculous waste of time. What the heck are we uploading tracking for in the first place, if not for that?

I am going to go out on a limb and say it will force us into returns and GSP. I hope I am wrong.

I am going to go out on a limb and say it will force us into returns and GSP. I hope I am wrong. Didn't one update mention that everyone would be managed returns by some point in 2015? But we could still not take returns I believe. ETA: I guess the better way to say that would be all returns sellers will be managed returns by some point in 2015. Sometimes I DO see myself why people can be confused by my posts.

It may be geared towards the beta group people are getting thrown in. Making IS the way to list. I remember a couple years ago before I stopped listing they were saying you weren't allowed to list condition in the description, it had to be in the IS box only, then with complaints it changed to it could be in description if it was identical to the IS, now looks like people don't worry about it. My guess is they will tighten that back up to IS only along with other info like return specifics only in the return area provided by ebay etc. To gradually get the point there won't be any seller extra in there. Just the facts.

I was wondering if they would start requiring more than one picture on a listing.

I think they will give us a date that we will all be in HFR and they won't allow INR cases if we've uploaded tracking. From what I've read on facebook groups there are a lot of people that still buy postage at the post office.

there are a lot of people that still buy postage at the post office. I can understand casual sellers still using the Post Office instead of investing in labels and stuff. but I'm constantly surprised by the number of full-time/high volume sellers that still buy their postage at the Post Office, whether it's at the counter or using the APC machine. It took me about 2 years to convince a fellow seller to at least TRY printing his own to save time and money. After 1 week he was hooked. The next time I saw him he said he didn't know why he didn't listen to me sooner. I laughed at him and told him that he was a stubborn old coot that should listen the young whippersnappers now and then. He was only 2 years older than me. LOL! Some people are just so resistant to change.
