Easy way to solve that one. I put the noisy toys up for the night, bring 'em back out in the am. Cats have to enterain themselves with the quiet toys.

Nah, that would require spending an hour every night getting under the bed, behind the couch, under the chairs and in all the little hidey holes to find all the noisy toys and putting them up. It's far easier to just ignore the noises the little wretches make at night and just check for damage in the mornings.

Tell me about it. "Somebody" knocked a glass off the kitchen counter around 3 AM Saturday morning and woke us up. When questioned, both cats implicated DH as the culprit - nevermind that he wasn't in the kitchen at the time. Well, silly old you for leaving an unapproved item on the counter in the first place. Surely you've learnt by now what you can and can't put there? Bubby and I have a perfect agreement about the coffee table. I'm allowed to have one small pile of books and she has the rest. I'm not allowed to have a footprint larger than the bottom book so I have to keep the remote on the top of the pile. And if the pile gets too high and obscures her view of any part of the room she knocks it over.

I don't hear the noise because there are two doors and a hall between my bed and the Missy family.
Now, the damage thing is another opportunity.

I don't know why I find this one so funny, but I keep going back to it. Maybe it's the look on their faces. lololol.

Mine have been highly suspicious of random inanimate objects lately too.
