Chapter 2 of "If My Cats Could Talk" by my very funny friend Laura... www.lauralemay.com/essays/if-my-cats-could-talk.html#p2Me: Hey you. Cat: WAT Me: Were you just on the counter? Cat: NO Me: I heard you jump off of the counter. Cat: NO Me: Were you licking that pan? Cat: NO Me: Did you knock that can on the floor? Cat: NO Me: Are you lying to me? Cat: NO Me: Are you sure? Cat: NOT ME. HIM. Cat #2: That is a despicable and outrageous accusation. I protest in the strongest possible terms. Cat: LIES Cat #2: You ignominious troglodyte. I demand satisfaction. Cat: LIAR Cat #2: Cretin. Prepare to die. *swat* Cat: *swat* Cat #2: *swat* *swat* *swat* Cat: *swat* *swat* *WHACK* *WHACK* Cat #2: *NINJA LEAP* (wrestling, yelling, fur in the air, running away) Cat #3: Oh, hey, there you are. Whatever you had in that pan was gross, and there wasn’t much of it. While you’re here in the kitchen could you open another can?

That conversation could have taken place at my house in the middle of the night.
Thats when all the action happens here.

Tell me about it. "Somebody" knocked a glass off the kitchen counter around 3 AM Saturday morning and woke us up. When questioned, both cats implicated DH as the culprit - nevermind that he wasn't in the kitchen at the time.

Somebody knocked my tablet off the bar the other night and I let them all know that whoever did it was about to find themselves on a trip outside to the cat pen.
It was either Daisy or Gracie and I am leaning toward Gracie because all of a sudden she is getting on the bar in front of my eyes so I know she is also up there overnight.
I need a nannie cam.

I've thought about a nanny cam, but I don't think I really want to know all they are up to when I'm sleeping or not around. Some things I would just rather not know.
