As if the life of an Ebay seller isn't challenging enough, they're using decimal percentages now, instead of ounces. Has anyone else seen this? Also, the increments overlap.

Yeah, just another "improvement" to shipping. Since they increased priority rates and increased 1st class weights, almost everything I've listed & shipped is 1st class so it's saving me money in the long run tho it slows down the shipping cause I count from 1 oz to get the correct weight. But there doesn't seem to be a 15 oz weight. Nice job people!

Just went back and pretended I was going to reship my packages so I could view the page again. I was going to try and copy and paste the increments shown, but because it's a dropdown, it won't allow me to highlight the whole thing.
Anyway, there's a "Tell us how to improve this page" link at the top, so I registered my complaint.
If anyone else is finding this tiresome, please take a minute to give them feedback the next time you're on that page.

It is so freaking confusing and I'm sure I'll drew up somewhere and get the wrong rate in.

I posted about it last week. It is tenths. eBay told me not to use bulk shipping.

Yes, I've been seeing it for a while. I've had to hit "compare shipping rates" & enter the weight in ounces there for each item. Really slows things down. Glad to hear there is a place to complain. I'll have to look next time I ship. Thanks.

I remember your post, but weren't you saying that the postage amount was wrong and that you were actually being charged more than the stated rates? I stayed away from it for a few days after your post and they've fixed the calculation problem. It's just this darn ounces as decimals thing that's bothering me.

I have been using it, it's no problem. And, 1 oz. or percentage of an ounce up to and including 8 oz. is the same price now (with eBay discount).
I am not liking this increase, but the eBay weight system is not the problem. The jack up from 1.93 to 2.60 is excessive IMO.
The bulk shipping is not overcharging for me either. I had read that in a post one day and actually added up all my shipping to make sure, it was fine. I use bulk shipping. It could have been an individual glitch.
I had a weird eBay glitch happen last week, an item was listed using sell similar (supposedly) by itself, at night from the IP address (supposedly) in my office which was closed at 5pm. Needless to say this resulted in a duplicate listing which was pulled and prompted my call to eBay on how it could possibly have happened. The rep said the automatic renewal most likely did this and it WAS eBay because according to their records, my laptop was used in my office at 10:30pm. This would have required the person to have come to my house, break in, take the laptop, drive to my office, break in, list the item over there and then quietly replace everything so no one would know any better. The scenario is a bit too far fetched so we have it noted as a glitch. I don't buy that it was automatic renewal either because the item that it happened on was not near time to renew, it had only been listed a week! eBay themselves just duped a listing. It happens to people sometimes.

Woo-hoo- they fixed it! Gave me weights in ounces instead of fractions. Yay eBay!

Sandra, just this afternoon I did a multi-order ship with one FC package and two Priorities. I was SO happy to see the ounces there! Yay!
