Love these. Wouldn't it be great if we could train our kitties to take eBay photos?

Titus.. let me know when you figure that out. Right now, the only thing Princes Lucy (our cat) manages to do is lay on anything black that I am getting ready to photograph. Yup, she is black & white & only the white hairs seem to fall out!

That gray cat is definitely in charge of the group.

I'm suspicious...the owner's name is Your Mom (Yorem Ahm)?

In a couple of them he's got his tongue sticking out in concentration. Too cute.

What is it with bird people naming their birds weird names? Poor Stinky! When we first moved to Ft Myers in '96 we kept hearing someone yelling the name Sylvia. All afternoon, Sylvia.... Syyyllllvvviaaaaa, louder & louder. When we finally met Sylvia, she told us it was her parrot, "Chicken," that was calling her name because he wanted her to feed him!

I know someone who had a cat named Stinky. She was a beautiful little calico.

That cat is awesome! He looks like the leader of the pack with all the dogs photo-bombing his pics. Love it.
Stinky is a great name for a bird. I bet there is a good story behind it.
I once had a cat we nicknamed scrappy because as a kitten if any other cat tried to eat from her bowl she would bellow out a loud maow! and smack her little paw in the food. Not even the big cats would dare eat her food.

Wow, what a cool cat. Not only does he take better selfies than any of the Kardashian girls, but he seems to have a following of dogs.

Stinky was named by DS and DH because the bird is so spoiled and stinky rotten, lol. The birds just kind of tell us their names like the kittens do. Also DH and I used to call our son Stinky Butt so it is a very loving nickname in this house. Stinky has gender issues also because I really think he is a she but we have been calling the bird a him for so long that it is hard to change the pronoun. So technically he is a she and would be Stinkerbelle aka Stinky for short.
I have one bird named Phil that yells "Let me out", lol.

My cat Lamington (named after an iconic Australian cake) won't come to dinner unless I call, "Lamington Fluffypants!" (In winter he grows fluffy trousers on his back legs.) It's the most embarrassing part of my day. And it's EVERY DAY. lol.
I have a cat called Lydia, because when I first got her she answered to "little one" so I went for a similar sound. I'd like to call a cat Sylvia. I like human names for animals. The only names I hate are derogatory ones like (sorry, Alli!) Stinky or Fatty. I also dislike names with no foresight, eg calling a baby animal Chubby or Fluffy when it's not going to grow up like that.

Mr. Ex named his cats after famous Romans since he was a Roman history geek. So there was Cicero, Octavius, Pompey, you get the drift. I usually named mine after their coloring or appearance. So I had Greyladdie (previously Greylady until the vet told me he was no lady), Cleopatches because she was multicolored and had the face and voice of an Abyssinian. Titus was Titus because he showed up in my yard one day as a kitten and wouldn't leave. So he became Titus of Titan Street.
