He's so big and beautiful, too! It says the first owner was a vet. A VET! But I shouldn't be so surprised, I've met a few cat-hating vets.

I have a very short and sweet cat story. My mother and father 'adopted' the cat that they found in their fireplace one July day (this is going back about 30 years ago).
My mom went into the den, and there was this fluffy orange cat, covered in soot, meowing at her from inside the screen. Evidently 'Rufus' was on the roof and decided to see what the chimney was all about. He was friendly, with no collar and was hungry. So she feed him. I guess you could say they adopted each other.
After that, they had a chimney cap installed.

A couple of years back we were camping and this couple a few spots down from us had their cat on a leash. He had his own chair around the camp fire that he would sit in every night. It was awesome.
Poor Larry the cat. He IS pretty large and in charge isnt he?
