I got tired of trying to revise items with 14, 15 & 16 oz weights that I had put in PFRE's. EBay kept telling me 1st class was 13 oz or less.
I revised this way: Chose Same Rate all Buyers, First Class & then put in the price. It worked! No red error message.
I also added plain Priority Mail as a 2nd option for all items in PFRE's that were more than 1# but less than 2# because it looks like it may be a little cheaper for buyers in my postal zone or only a couple away.

You must have been using calculated before.

So eBay has not updated the calculated shipping options yet to include 14-15 oz in FC?

i'm getting red flags galore and gave up. bulk edit is NOT working for me at all.
how does your method affect international? (I have so little I-sales these days I am leaving them with PFRE+Handling). I wouldn't want to get a surprise with an international person paying for domestic first class!! i'm wondering if it would make more sense to stop shipping worldwide if that's the quick fix.
or wait til the bugs are worked out.
inkfrog currently isn't updated either-they still only have fc up to 13 ounces.
I figure i'll eat the .15 on those.
i'm overwhelmed personally. I'm resigned to a lot of hand editing, one by one. I tweaked about 100 today and omg-what a PITA.

I don't know about jandsknight, but I use flat rate on domestic and calculated rate on international with no problems.

I just tried 15oz and got red flags. Guess I'll wait to edit till they get their bugs worked out but that's annoying. They've know this was gonna happen the 17th; you'd think they would have it working by now. That is, IF they intend to include 14-16 oz as 1st class for us.
And that was a listing with free shipping- the weight's really only for the occasional international buyer.

I don't have anything available for international right now. I used to and have done what Val said.

How did you find out what first class cost? I've always used this postcalc.usps.com/and there's no first class that shows up on it after 13 oz. At 13 it says First-Class Mail Parcel First-Class Mail Parcel can be used for lightweight packages or bulky large envelopes weighing up to 13 ounces. For heavier items, see Priority Mail in the Rates and Fees Reference. ARGH

If you're shipping clothing, you need to look at the pricing for First Class Parcel, not Letter.

Just looked at stamps.com - $3.60 for 15 oz.
These people - both ebay and usps - have known about this crap for MONTHS. WTH haven't they set the dang stuff up right?

Empty-nester provided this table:
Oz - Retail - eBay
1-3 - $2.60 - $2.60 4 oz - 2.74 - $2.60 5 oz - 2.94 - $2.60 6 oz - 3.14 - $2.60 7 oz - 3.34 - $2.60 8 oz - 3.54 - $2.60 9 oz - 3.74 - $3.30 10 oz - 3.94 - $3.35 11 oz - 4.14 - $3.40 12 oz - 4.34 - $3.45 13 oz - 4.54 - $3.50 14 oz - 3.55 - $3.55 15 oz - 3.60 - $3.60 16 oz - 3.65 - $3.65
padded flat rate - $6.80 - $5.90
It was in the thread about ebay not giving rates yet. It's in the same section as this thread.
I think she did the same as I did: before printing a label I put in the weights, one at a time of 14, 15, & 16 oz before going back to the actual weight I needed for my label.
My understanding is that the weights of 1-13 oz. are available for first class parcels at a P.O., but the others are only available through a 3rd party commercial postage provider. I may not be using the exact words to describe things.
