Does anyone have a system they use?
I always thought it looked interesting. I don't know how they overcome drainage so the plants don't get root rot.

The plants wouldn't have a chance to get root rot here because they would all be dug up and down on the floor.
The cat herd would think I installed it just for them.

Yep, the cats would have a real party with one of those.
I do like the look, but no indoor plants for me.

Didn't think about my bad boys. One of them decided to start chewing the tips off of one of my plants. He's a weirdo, though.
All the vertical gardens look so pretty. But I wonder if they'll actually get close, in real life, to the photos. I don't want some dirty looking, limpy, things hanging on my wall. It's not like it would be an easy clean up trying to keep water off the walls. I keep thinking disaster. But I love the look.

I would try it outside, I'd be afraid of the mess inside with trying to water (oh wait, I don't water plants). I've seen them done with shoe organizer bags, I would think a canvas one would drain ok if you could put it against a wall or fence you didn't mind water draining down.

Wonder if the plastic mesh would keep out the animals? Works to keep birds out of my blueberries, deer out of my garden.
when I used to have a lovely row of strawberries along my driveway, I used the mesh to keep out squirrels and chipmunks.

Maybe I will try one outside first as an experiment. I don't want an eyesore hanging on my kitchen wall.

My garden is outside but most of it is vertical.

This is the vertical garden at Longwood Gardens. The doors on the left are individual restrooms. It's really cool. ETA - It goes on for quite a distance around the bend too.
