cats are supposed to like it - what do you do with it? Chop off stuff and give to them? Let them chomp on it? Blackie's the only one that showed any interest and he just takes a huge bite in the middle of all the grass and then walks around with the pot hanging from his mouth. Dum cat.

I think they're suppose to just pick at it and munch. Maybe you need a bigger tray so your cat can't lift it up?

Usually they will nibble on it and bite off some. Then later they go to the middle of the lightest color carpet to puke it up in a messy gob. Needless to say I have given up on various cat grasses.

lol at Blackie.
I've only ever seen cats eat grass occasionally. Maybe it's an old wives' tale, but I think it's when they feel a bit sick or in need of digestive help. So maybe the others will get interested later.
I've heard of people chopping it up and mixing it with their wet food, but I wouldn't do it.

Aggie goes out in the yard and "grazes" all the time. She never barfs it up. It's just standard yard grass she likes.

My guys have never been outside and outside here is just concrete and 'foliage' and flowers kinda stuff - calla lillies, roses, pointsettias - not regular grass.
Blackie's always trying to eat my salads so I give him some greens then (with no dressing). Figured buying this wheatgrass stuff would be better for him. Apparently not....

Unknown, Blackie might not be a "barfer" when he eats it. It is supposed to be good for digestion.
My outside cats eat regular grass when they have an upset tummy or maybe because it helps them with digestion.. Some barf, some don't.

He says you can pry it from his cold dead paws. He ain't parting with it. All this time I thought he was out catting around, he must have been zipping up to Durango for supplies.

I've never seen actual wheatgrass. Maybe it's too stiff or thin for Blackie to bite off? Because lawn grass is soft and broad and they have no trouble with it.
