Well, of course, I missed it.
I thought it was going to be tonight at 2:AM because in my world it would still be Tuesday until I woke up Wednesday morning.
Going to check out their website.
Did you buy anything?

Those bugs are adorable Kritter.
I ordered some stuff for gifts. A planter that looks like an old truck and a pair of owls.
I'm still thinking about the P&H Angel Wing spinner.
Roy I have bought lots of garden stuff from them for gifts before. And I have also had plants thru them from Cottage Farms before and they always did really well.

OMG The spinner I ordered last week was just delivered.
It is fantastic. I can't wait to get it put up and I am going right over to QVC to order the Angel Wing one.

I love these^^ Val!! We did a little raised garden for the first time last year. It was pretty small with mainly tomatoes, peppers and onions. Fresh garden tomatoes are the best!

Some of this stuff is so adorable. Do any of you have a fairy garden. If I can find pictures from last year I'll try to post them.

I love the spinner-but too expensive for me. Was thinking it would help to keep away the deer at night.

Years ago, I heard that to keep away the deer, that I should play a radio in the garden at night, and also to put down carpet squares. Well, the deer apparently loved the music and carpeting while dining on my veggies. I had run a long cord up to my garden and put a radio under a plastic bucket. The neighbors were going nuts trying to figure out where the music were coming from. )

I got some cute sparkly butterflies at Big Lots for my bare tree branches and some other odds and ends for the yard. Saw some other stuff at Big Lots but decided to wait and look around to see what other places have.
On the way home I passed by Home Depot and they are getting in their plants and trees. Saw a big section of the parking lot fenced off and a herd of trees already there.
This is going to be an interesting spring as I am selling my pickup tomorrow afternoon and will be truckless for the first time in 20 years.

I think I saw a commercial for Enterprise tonight about how you can rent a car for a few hours. Going to check into that also because I think they have trucks too.
I do most of my garden shopping at Lowes because I like their selection and discounts better but I would have no problem pulling up in a HD truck.

Val - me too love the birds. I wonder how they stand up they don't look very sturdy. That's a decent price too!
Only Shirley can afford the spinner - we will have to live in envy!

LOL Hardly When I got mine it was the Today's Special, so it was about $12 cheaper. Plus they had it on 3 payments. So I just need to sell one $35 item each month for 3 months, that makes it practically free. And I used my PayPal card so I get money back on it. So I actually made money on the deal.

Hey Kritter, are they metal?
If so before you put them out you should spray them front and back with a coat of clear spray. It makes the colors last longer and helps protect them from rust.
I do all of mine before they go out, works for metal statue or ornament pieces too. And then each year I give them a new coat. Even if they are looking dull it makes the colors pop back and they look nice again. I have some pieces that have been up 3-4 years and still look new.
I use the Rustoleum clear spray. Whatever kind you use make sure to get the glossy and not the matte. The matte dulls them down and the glossy makes them sparkle.
It also works good on wooden items, helps seal them from rain.

Thanks for that hint Shirley! I didn't know that they made a clear protective spray - I will have to pick some up. I am always touching up garden ornaments with spray paint.

I use that clear stuff on everything that goes out in the yard. Everything but the cats, that is.

Yard stuff is getting pricey. And spraying them is a great way to get extra years of use out of them and to keep them looking nice.
I just lay out a big tarp and put the new stuff on it and spray away. If you just have a couple of items turn over the lid on an outdoor garbage can and sit or lay it in that and spray.
If you have old tired hands like me you can get one of those spray grip handles for about $3-4 and it makes it so much easier.

QVC Plow and Hearth - I MISSED IT!!!! With the ice that hit Atlanta our power was out Tuesday and Wednesday and didn't get internet and the land line up until today. Our driveway is a stinking mess. Once it warms up a bit I'll have to get the chain saw out to clean up all the fallen branches and tress.
Is it a weekly thing? Or should I check out the website to see if there is anything that you ladies have left for me to purchase LOL

I see a coffee cup up there. Since I've been out of the loop I know I'm missing something. Can someone fill me in?

The icons are something new.
They show up when your post hits a certain number of words. They are specific to that post and only occur on certain boards.
Just a bit of fun to brighten your day.

QVC will be doing garden hours now that spring is coming. They should have another all day nothing but garden day coming up too. I will post when I see them scheduled. I'm always looking for them this time of year to find unique things for my yard.
If you look there you can see what P&H items they have left.
There was some cute stuff and I think some is still left.

Has anyone checked out the outdoor items at Frontgate? I was so very excited when they opened an 'outlet' here in the Atlanta area. Once I walked in the store I was disappointed. Most of their stuff is the same price that is in the catalog which is way over my head. I do love to look though. I especially love these frogs. www.frontgate.com/weekend-retreat-frogs/outdoor-decor-accessories/outdoor-decor/statues-sculptures/505990. I keep scanning craigs list to see if someone has gotten tired of theirs but so far have come up empty.
