Thanks Kritter, but I am going to wait to see what they have on QVCs garden day on tuesday.
I am seriously thinking of getting another spinner and they have the best prices there. The one I ordered was $40 cheaper then the P&H website price.
I would fill my yard with their stuff if I could. Hmm, when is the next big Lotto drawing?

Would you slap me with a reminder about the show on Tuesday? I am sure to forget.

Kritter, you're a very bad influence. That is not the first time I have been told about that "bad influence" thing.

Would you slap me with a reminder about the show on Tuesday? I am sure to forget. The Plow & Hearth hour is at 2am Eastern time. Midnight my time but not sure of yours. I will make sure to remind you.

At least that deer family doesn't eat every plant in your yard. I used to live in a community in the N Ga mountains. Where the 'tree huger' deer lovers would not stand for them to be culled. They were over populated and ate the forest down to the ground and were starving. They even ate the deer resistant plants. I still love to go up there and see them grazing in herds but am gland I'm not trying to protect my plants from them.
On wind chimes. I love the melodic ones but they are expensive. I've not purchased any because I'm not sure I could stand to hear them all the time.

I love them. I found a NWT one at the thrift that I just love the sounds of. It's kinda like a weather thing too, how hard is the breeze today? Just listen for the chimes.

I can always tell which direction the wind is coming from by which chimes are ringing and how loud they are.
It's like a free weather service.
They tend to be addictive though, I just got 3 new ones hung up this weekend.

I love the garden board too and thanks shirley and val! I have a bunch of windchimes as one part of my deck is a pergola with vines and the windchimes and birdhouses are perfect.

I had no idea I was s'posed to have an opinion on wind chimes. They've never been on my radar, good or bad. I'm glad I don't have any today though, as it's super windy out there.

Yes, that is the Cherry Blossom.
They had some bigger and pricier ones at Walmart for Christmas but I hesitate and they were sold out in a flash.
I wanted to buy the display one but they wouldn't let me. Probably one of the managers wanted it.

I want to get one for inside my house but my Daisy is a terrorist and a sneaky one at that.
Tomorrow is the last day of the sale so I have to commit or not.

The Cherry Blossom would look pretty on a patio. I really like that one.
Kritter - Weren't you thinking about the Winterberry tree? I picked that one up for Christmas. I was in Home Depot a few weeks ago and someone returned a brand new tree bag on wheels. They marked it down to $1. I snagged it.

Yes, it was the Winterberry tree. I loved that tree.
I am talking myself into a trip to BL tomorrow even though yard work is on the schedule.
I love my deer family but the mom and dad really need a paint touchup.

Now I am thinking that I might hold out for the Winterberry. That was my favorite. I love it so much that I would leave it up all year.

Um Val, that looks like a palm tree to me. ETA: OK, now it looks like a pink vulture. That dang thing is supposed to be a flamingo?

OOps wrong item. Although it does explain why it doesn't look like a flamingo!

Personally I love them. Love the windows open in the summer, slight wind. Relaxing to me.

I had quite a symphony yesterday and last night.
The winds here were 35mph so even my heavy chimes were ringing.

That is a major pitiful flamingo on that wind chime. Definitely a pink vulture.
Headed out to the yard today with Shirley. We are forecast for rain starting tomorrow so I have got to get some weeds whacked and bushes clipped.
My guy is coming next week to cut some tree limbs off my patio trees. Black Walnut tree and I hate it.

I love wind chimes. But I prefer the smaller ones that you need to be near to hear. I have a few around the outside of my house. Love being outside and hearing the tinkling sound.
I also have cowbells attached to all of my outside doors so every time a door opens they ring throughout the house. These came with the house and I didn't like them at first, but they've grown on me now.
