This is a St John Sport santana knit sweater. If it weren't St John, I wouldn't be too worried about it, but... They aren't actual 'holes', meaning that it doesn't look like any of the fibers are missing/torn, is the knit just stretched out or loose? Moth holes wouldn't look like this, right? This issue is in small random areas, not uniform, and not really in areas where you'd expect much stretch/tension. I'd appreciate any help on how to describe it. I do still plan on listing it. I think the close-up photo makes it look more glaring than it actually is. I can't even see it on the full-item photo.

It could just be the knit pattern itself. Sometimes when you have cables or lace patterns that have different stitches, the tension gets a little wonky. Are the gaps in every spot where there is this pattern? It almost looks like it's just from switching from one stitch to another.

IDK anything abt knitting, but I don't see a flaw, it just looks like the way it is. I wouldn't disclose that at all, as it doesn't look like anything wrong, to me.

Yes, Sunset, now that you mention it, it is just where the cables meet like shown in the photo. You really can't see it unless it's held up to the light or against a light background.
So do you think I shouldn't mention it at all? Should I include that photo, or do one not so close-up where you can see it but not so well? lol
I just worry a bit about St John buyers, they can be fussy.

To me it really doesn't look like a flaw at all, just part of the knit pattern. Like zoe said, it's just the way it is. It's really pretty too!

Same here - not a flaw, just the knit.

It looks like a dye issue to me.

When I have items like that I always include a close up like the one you have here.
