Can buyers from other countries still ask seller a question? I got a weird very detailed measurement question on a men's coat, and I see it says the buyer is a member in China. I don't sell internationally and have all countries blocked. Can they still ask or do I need to check my settings? Thank you!!

I remember getting a question from someone in Europe - forget where - asking about a measurement and I didn't sell to that country. I answered and told the buyer that I didn't sell to his country. He thanked me for the info and asked if I would make an exception and sell to him. After checking out his FB, I decided I would sell to him, and it turned out fine.

Thanks for the info. The message is a bit too detailed for me:
My body measurement showed as below: A)Shoulder to shoulder: 46cm /18.1inch B)armpit to armpit: 57cm/22.5inch ( 44-45 in perimeter) C)Sleeve(shoulder to arm cuff):62cm/24.4inch D)height:172cm/5.64(ft) E)weight: 72kg/ 158(lb) Whould the cloth fit me?
I do have chest, length and sleeve measurements in the listing. Don't think I would want to sell to someone in America with that question, lol, it's too much for me. I guess I'll just reply stating I don't sell internationally.

Oh my, that is a lot of detailed info to process. I agree. Sounds too high maintenance a buyer to me. Tell him/her you don't sell to that country and be done! Maybe block too in case he/she knows someone in this country to ship to!

I stopped selling international a few years ago, and will still occasionally get a question from out of the country IDs.
And I had to giggle... if someone asks TOO many questions I will block too! I have a $10 pair of Nike pants listed, received at least a dozen questions about them from one person. Its not a colossal investment, buy the darn pants or go away lol.

All the body measurements would bug me. Way too needy of a buyer.

I hate buyers asking if something will fit them. How the heck can I know if it will fit them or not? Doesn't matter how many measurements they give, if they can't look at the measurements of the garment and decide if it will fit, I sure can't.

I have had buyers registered in other countries that I have blocked (Canada, Mexico) message me, tell me they have an address in the US that I could ship to and ask that I allow them to bid. I added them to my buyer exemption list and everything worked out fine.

I've been getting a lot of buyers that are international but are shipping to a third party company in the US. Ebay has set up shipping areas throughout the US. 2 that I know of are New Jersey and Texas. They have a program for international buyers to pay a flat rate shipping fee for the year and they can buy as much as they want.

I haven't heard back, which I think is a good thing One of my buyers from Mexico explained it to me in detail. She buys a lot on ebay. It's a low annual fee. If I recall correctly it was around $50 for the year. She uses the Texas shipping company. The downfall is returns. The shipping company charges their regular shipping rate to return an item to the seller. So, be careful if you see an international buyer with a US shipping address. You can google the address to find out if it's going to a 3rd party company. If it is don't make any mistakes. You will have a mess.
