I have some Ralph Lauren throw pillows to list. When I purchased them they included a 'no name' down insert. I often see listings where the insert is not included. I'm seriously considering including the insert as an added feature but am concerned that since it is down that some feathers will work their way though the pillow casing in transit.
I would appreciate your thoughts on if I'm asking for trouble and if folks rather purchase the inserts new.
Thanks

First thing I would do is look into boxes. IIRC a pair didn't fit the largest pm box. If boxing isn't a problem and they're in good shape I'd go for it. I've sold a few with inserts (not rl) and they go quickly.

Maybe you could put the inserts in plastic bags in the box and then the pillow covers wrapped separately in the same box.

I would ditch the inserts and sell just the covers.

Thanks for your replies. Thinking about it further I think I'll just sell the covers. The savings on shipping and not having to worry about the feathers seems like a win win.

I would sell the inserts separately, and indicate in the RL ad that they can be purchased also.
Those inserts can be pricey, esp if down.
