I take returns. I am not in Managed Returns.
Get a return request today for a dress I sold. It gives the reason for the return as " It's the wrong size or doesn't fit. Too tight."
I show the size tag in the listing so It's not the wrong size. I give measurements. I have a paragraph that says go by the measurements to see if it will fit you.
I don't care about taking the return, but I don't want a defect. If I just check the box that says "accept the return," will I get a defect? Or, should I fight it because all the size info was provided and correct.

If you check "accept the return" you will NOT get a defect. Despite the fact that the initial email from Ebay says "there's something wrong with your item", if the buyer chose "wrong size or doesn't fit" as the reason for return, no defect results.

So far I have never gotten a defect for a return for fit. So far!

Thanks guys. I have trouble remembering what I am supposed to do and eBay's negative-sounding wording spooks me.
