Has anyone here taken clothes to Clothes Mentor? I am thinking of taking some duds to them that I am sick of looking at! I am just wondering what the payout is like? I am guessing 3 to 4 bucks per item if they accept it. Also, I looked on their list of accepted brands on their website and it seems pretty limited. Do they stick by that list or do they accept good brands that aren't on it? Oh and also do they take clothes with flaws like little tiny holes or no? I have tons of those! Thanks!

Yeah, I have. $2-4 in general. IDK how close they stick to their brands, as I have taken stuff on their list. They are adamant though that the items be less than 2 yrs old. They have a book with photos of current & past labels & will check you items against their book. I had some stuff they really liked & wanted to take, but couldn't cuz the CWC label was too old. I can't imagine they'd accept flawed items, but it would probably depend on whether they notice the flaw. It's not a place to make money, really just to get back your investment, for the most part.

We have one opening here soon/recently opened so I was considering this too. Glad you asked.

Ok thanks Zoe! That is about what I was thinking but was hoping they paid a bit more. Not sure if I want to go through the trouble now. If I do I will report back with my experience. Mine has so much nice stuff and I really wish it was just a tad cheaper. If so, it would be my #1 spot for inventory.

What's nice is it's not a guessing game. They enter a few things into the computer, brand, type, sleeve length, etc. & it tells them exactly how much to pay you, so no arbitrariness (is that a word) in the valuation process, only in the dating process.
