Meet Mazie, Molly, and Mandy...the newest fosters. They are probably around 8 weeks old and were surrendered to the city shelter a little over a week ago. The rescue saved them and brought them to the Petsmart yesterday where I took Toby. They are too little to be spayed yet but since I had an empty carrier after Toby got adopted, they jumped in and came home with me. Just got some fast pics on the run today. Trying to get this house cleaned and maybe some quick pics for Ebay too. Will get some better kitten pics soon. Mazie

You can box up and send that first little cutie to me via express mail I'm guessing they're not from the same litter?

I know nothing about kitty litters, it's funny out they can come out all looking completely different. Well, I guess the first 2 look similar. They're all adorable! Mandy looks sooo serious... lol
Maizy looks like your Daisy doesn't she?

Mandy is the heaviest-she weighs 2.1 and the other two weigh 1.10.
They are having some poop issues so when we get that cleared up, they should start packing on the ounces.

Oh they are totally adorable. I can see why they just fell into that carrier and you took them home. Bliss, a litter of kittens can have multiple fathers. You can end up with ones that looks totally different from the others, even a mix of short hair and long hair ones. With outside female cats you just never know what the litter will look like.

Oh my, I did not know that. Good thing it doesn't work that way with human multiples. Although I think I've heard stories.

HRH Sabrina has only seen them in passing. I took the pics when they were in the hall and the door to "her" room was closed. They stay most of their time so far in their own tent so I can make sure their poop medicine works.

Cats are built differently then humans so it is very easy to happen with them. Instead of one big uterus they have a tiny one that has long horns on each side, and it's in the horns that the kittens develop. When I get the pregnant MomKats to foster it's always exciting to see what the kittens look like cause you just never know. But I do know Mandy is my favorite, I love black kittehs and those torti spots are gorgeous.

I love it when they still have that totally wondering, naive look in their eyes. Disappears at about 3 months.

Kritter they don't need a bed in there when they have a litter box to lay in.
Never ceases to amaze me how much they like laying in one.

No MomKat surrendered with them?
I don't know how anyone could give up 3 such beauties.

Nope, no Momkat with them. They were surrendered as "ferals".
Well, I gave in. No bed in their tent; they have two litter boxes now.

Ferals?
Yeah right, at that age ferals would be demons from hell and you couldn't get within 10 feet of them.

Yep, I had to laugh at the ferals things.
People seem to interchange "feral" with stray or homeless.
Just goes to show that they have never had the true feral cat experience.
These guys purr up a storm when you just look at them much less act like you might pick them up. At one time in their short life, somebody loved on them or they wouldn't be such snugglers now.

I just hope whoever had the MomKat learned their lesson and gets her fixed.
You can tell they have been loved on, they are so friendly and responsive.
I'm really glad you took them in. ((((Kritter))))

They seem awfully relaxed - sleeping stretched out and independent instead of curled in tight balls and huddled together.

They are definitely from some place where they were cared for and loved.
I had a bit of a signal cross when trying to get Kenya from my room to the other part of the house and the kittens were in the hall. I put the kittens in Sabrina's room right when she was down off her tower and getting a drink. She hissed herself up and the kittens all hissed up right along with her.
That girl has got to relax.

You need to look for her tension knob and adjust it down to cool kitty.
Right now I think it is set on high strung princess.
