With one of those hacked up titles. www.tradesy.com/dresses/anthropologie-big-band-retro-floral-dress-multi-5276623/I guess I just ship through paypal - At least I get SOME discount. Maybe I'd better just let them send me a shipping kit but it seems like it takes a while to arrive? I like getting stuff moving out fast. What do you guys think? It's one of the things I don't have double listed - I've been moving my non-movers over to Tradesy if I think they'll appeal to the market. Wonder if I'll sell anything else? I have more stuff to list on there.

Yay! I shipped mine via PP shipping. Easier and faster.
I suppose I should go transfer the funds or whatever one does (all $13 or so).

I looked all over and didn't find a shipping label so I did one from Paypal. I'll look again - I must have missed something.

When you have a sale, you can download a Priority label (with the Santa Monica return address) from them and they'll just deduct the cost from your cut. The downside is it costs more than I would have paid for shipping using my own PP account -- I've only had 6 sales so I'm still figuring this out.
ETA: When you're listing the item, select "Send me a free printable label" under Shipping Methods. The shipping cost is automatically added to the sale price - it shows up right away, so you can decide whether you want to use their shipping or your own before you publish the listing.

I would recommend NOT to ask them for a shipping kit. I did that the first time and the kit took over a week to get to me and all it was was a polymailer, a piece of tissue paper and label. I just use my own supplies and print their label.
And congats on the sale Chap. I haven't made a sale on Tradesy in forever.

I've had a lot of sales and always ship through paypal. Don't forget to upload tracking on their site.

Ahrn - I didn't know about the cost difference between the printable label vs. my own shipping. Thanks for explaining that. I always used the printable label. Off to see if I can edit that on some listings.

Yay for lots of sales, Roy!
Yeah, hoping I didn't just have beginner's luck. I'm listing different things now on Tradesy from eBay to see what happens.
I'll just keep using my own shipping supplies - for instance, this dress shouldn't go in a poly mailer, it needed to go in a box so that wouldn't have worked, and yeah, someone here said it took about a week to get the shipping kit, then of course to ship - I like to get things moving outta here fast lol - I shipped it the next day. I like the idea of the label having the Santa Monica return, though - I don't want this stuff back lol.

Chap, when you print the label next time, use the Tradesy return address and in the "shipping from" area, just enter your zip code (so postage will calcuate correctly).

Congrats, chap! (I'm late to the party as usual). I've sold a fair number of things on Tradesy now and I always make my label on Paypal. Hope this is the first of many, many more for you!

Congrats Chap! Although it's usually a lot slower than ebay, you can get some higher price sales IMO.
And no return requests!!
