Oh, well, Shirley, human or cat is a no-brainer. Cat or dog might be more difficult.

Cool. Rumors are swirling that NPH is one (of many) being considered as Kelly's new co-host. Works for me!

For Prime members who are English history geeks The Great Fire is now available. It's a series based on the great fire of London in 1666. It didn't get a good rating on IMDB but Amazon viewers seem to have rated it higher.

Is that Castle show still on? And Bones? Where are the protagonists at in their relationships?

Castle is still on, although I haven't watched since he and Beckett married. The actress playing Beckett won't be returning next season (assuming there is a next season) so I guess there will be a divorce or a death. I can't imagine they would re-cast such a major character.
I watched 2-3 episodes of the first season of Bones, then gave it up. I love Kathy Reichs. I love Temperance Brennan. The Temperance on the series is not the Temperance in the book IMO. I've read that Reichs is very happy with the series, but that's just not the Tempe I 'know'. Or at least she wasn't early in the first season.

Castle and Beckett got married? Gosh! It'll be hard to replace her. How credible is it that there'd be another sexy female cop willing to let a novelist trail around with her?
I think Kathy Reichs might be happy with the money the series brings in, not necessarily with the series itself. Like Anne Rice with the vampire Lestat movie. I STILL can't believe she was happy with Tom Cruise playing him.

Tonight is the final episode, last show ever of The Goodwife.
I keep hoping that Alicia catches a glimpse of Will somewhere and that he really is alive. That his death was some sort plot because thugs he was testifying against were out to kill him and he went into protective custody with a faked death or something like that. They did that on Criminal Minds with Emily, fake funeral and all.
Then I can rest knowing that Alicia and Will finally get back together. The series went downhill after his death - I hated it when they killed him off.

IMVHO, The Goodwife outstayed its welcome. How many seasons has it been on, seven? Now it seems like a vehicle for showing how Alicia is so desirable to all men. And her wigs have been dreadful. I keep watching but the show lost its luster after Kalinda left.

What movies do you watch time and again, whenever they're on television?
Last night, when I wasn't sleeping, I happened upon Moonstruck. I watch this whenever it's on. Other favorites are To Sir With Love, The Uninvited (1944), Poltergeist and Friendly Persuasion. There are more, I just can't think of them right now.

What movies do you watch time and again, whenever they're on television? Meet Joe Black. Don't know why I love that sappy movie. Cry every time. Brian's Song. Another Kleenex-fest. DH will watch any part of The Godfather over and over. And he will watch Spaghetti Westerns. I love horses and definitely cowboys, but those movies are sooooooo bad.

I'm shallow.
I always stop to watch Clueless, Legally Blonde, While You Were Sleeping, Kindergarten Cop, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, and The American President.
Another favorite but it's not on all that often is one from years back with Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek, Fools Rush In. Really cute tear jerker rom-com with some surprising life lessons tossed in.

Steel Magnolias, it was on a few days ago and I enjoyed every minute of it even though I have seen it at least 20 times.

What movies do you watch time and again, whenever they're on television? Forest Gump, the Shawshank Redemption, Rocky, With Honors, Gross Anatomy, Any John Cusack Movie, Good Will Hunting, Grease, the Cutting Edge, Breakfast Club, St Elmo's Fire, Can't Buy Me Love and all of the Halloween and Friday the 13th movies But, Beautiful Girls is my all time favorite. I not only watch it when it's on TV (which is never), I will put it on from Netflix and watch it. It's just a great movie (IMO, of course) and has an all-star cast.

Oh, I'd forgotten some of those, Jeremy. I'll go with you on Shawshank and Breakfast Club.
Anything I REALLY like I get on dvd. The Long Hot Summer, The Remains of the Day, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Wickerman (original), Brief Encounter (Trevor Howard)...etc etc. But they never put those on tv anyway.

Castle has been canceled. I guess that solves the mystery of what they were going to do without Beckett.

There's only ever been one show that I felt had more stories to tell. It was a New Zealand drama called Outrageous Fortune. It was brilliant. They tried a US version, which sucked.
Other shows have ended and I've been sad, but that was for the enjoyment they'd already given me, not any enjoyment I thought was yet to come. If that makes sense.
And then there are the things I've desperately wanted to end, lol.

Crap. Found out CSI Cyber was canceled. I really liked that show. Oh well, at least my other shows are returning. Supergirl got moved to the CW so I have to see if I can still watch it online. I started watching Rush Hour last week, it's really cute but no word if it's coming back. I think it's a mid-season starter so there may still be more shows in the can yet.

All you need are some dental mouth openers and nonsense phrases and this is what happens. My niece and her friends are going to love this game.

Does anybody like Bloodline on netflix? The 2nd season was released today. I'm so excited about it! It was literally the first thing I thought about when I woke up this morning so I watched the first episode before getting out of bed. I'm back home from shopping now and I'm about to binge hard. Lol. It's one of the best shows out right now if not the best...in my opinion.

It was awesome! I wasn't sure if Nicky was going to back this season, was so glad to see her. Would have seen nice to see more of Sophia. I wish we didn't have to wait whole year for season 5.

Bawled my head off with OITNB this season. Great season, absolutely made up for last season. I hate that they release them all at once...I usually watch them in two days and then have to find something else until next year!

I know, I don't know why they do that. I've resorted to watching the whole thing over again from season 1, can't seem to get enough.

It was all I thought about last week after I watched it. I couldn't get it off my mind. I love the show but have never gone back and rewatched any of it and I think because it can be a little depressing!
