Hi All...I'm not asking a question, just ranting on my latest dose of Ebay stupidity. I got this email for an unusual promo...from 1/17-2/1 I could list 3 items in categories other than CSA (and a few other oddball categories) and the FVF on each would only be $1.00. There was a click to activate button. So on Sat (1/31) I click and get an error message "offer expired". I call up and the idiot rep basically tells me too bad, so sad. She claims I was the only user in all of worldwide Ebay to get that offer. LOL. (I'm so special!) Then she tells me she will put in a ticket to tech support & will get back to me. Ummmm...sure...by that time it will really be expired. I ultimately asked for a supervisor who in the end relented and said call back when I get billed and they will adjust. Not holding my breath on that one, but definitely will be fighting it.
This one is really high on my list of Ebay stupidity.

Did it go to your ebay email or personal email? Sounds weird since no one else got it. Are you sure it wasn't spam?

It was at both my personal email & in Ebay messages. What I meant was that I thought the CS person was an idiot for saying that I was the only one who got it. The supervisor confirmed that it was a legitimate promo, just that there was some technical issue with it.
