Wow. I'm impressed. That many stage set ups and changes in just 12 minutes? Dang. And the giant robotic tiger was awesome!!
I don't think I've ever really paid attention to Katy Perry other that to see what color hair she had for the week. I didn't realize a couple of those songs were her…think I'll wander over to iTunes and buy some of her music.

The sets, lighting, tiger and dancing sharks were great, the music was a miss for me. There seemed to be a lot of lip syncing. And I Kissed a Girl was downright boring. I was expecting so much more from her and when dancing sharks upstage the singer then the show really did jump the shark.

I thought the artists always lipsynced the super bowl. Well, except maybe some years the person singing the National Anthem might not, but I always figured the halftime artists did.

Prior to the show she said in an interview that most of it would be live. But she was so bad at the lip synchs that it was obvious that it wasn't.
I was just surprised that her performance seemed so half hearted. She usually has so much more energy and she really didn't move or dance that much.
And why in the hell sing I Kissed a Girl with Lenny? Makes no sense at all, but then having him on the show didn't make a lot of sense either.
I thought Missy Elliott totally outperformed her, and I don't particularly like Missy's music.
I miss the great shows, like the Stones on that lip stage, and Prince's Purple Rain that brought down the house.

So much better than last year's...I can tolerate Katy Perry. I abhor Bruno Mars.

Mabye she was too out of breath from zipping from one stage to another and changing on the run.
That was a lot of techincal stuff to squash into 12 minutes. That's what impressed me.

That was impressive. It was like watching the stuff done during the Olympics opening/closing ceremonies.

The singing was ok. I am not a huge fan and I hear those songs over and over again everywhere I go. The show part with stage changes and effects were good. Loved that tiger!

That was cool, I didn't realize people were under there. You could tell that she was singing over a recorded track. Some of her was live but a LOT of it wasn't. Which is pretty typical from what I've read.
