Not how I wanted to start my day

Went downstairs in my jammies and cat robe to take the garbage out before the trash guys came and saw car stopped in the middle of the street across the street from me. The driver was a woman calling someone - she'd just hit/killed a little white kittie that looked like the kittie on my bathrobe. I went upstairs to grab an old towel and tried to pick him up and move him  off the street - lost my balance and me and kittie plopped in the middle of the road too. The woman wrapped him up and pulled me up, got us to the sidewalk and then she left and I'm sitting on the curb crying, looking at this little kittie baby. Think she called some animal control or something, she rumbled something like that getting into her car. I couldn't sit any more with the poor thing.

And I'm still crying. Poor baby.....

Unknown - how sad.  So nice of you to wrap the baby up.  I too would be nauseous.

Glad you were able to cover & move him. I hate how some people deliberately try to hit them if they are on the road (at least they do that around here) Sorry you had such a sad start to your day.
