Hi all, I had a buyer who was from Uraguy. One of those buyers who send the package to a US address and then they forward it or whatever. She put the wrong apt. address on the envelope. So of course after I shipped and through some garbled emails we came to the understanding the apt # was wrong.. I called the USPS and they directed me to a Bronx NY PO. The package had came back to them and I asked if they could redirect with the correct apt#.. She said "No there are hundreds of packages in our returns bin, I wont be able to find it." I said it is in a Dusty Pink Poly Mailer. A few minutes later, she tells me my description was spot on. She found it in the bottom of the bin.. It was redirected and reshipped and delivered.. Not only are they supper snazzy but the colored mailers can also help in a situation like that...
As I was on the phone with the Carrier Supervisor from Bronx NY she shouts out JAKE HERES YOUR BAGEL!! lol still giggling about that.. lucky NY postal workers

I'm jealous of Jake. I want a bagel now. Glad they found your package!

I use a wide safety security tape, it has saved my butt a few times on package recalls. Easy to spot.

I need to order more poly mailers. I bought assorted colors last time. I think I may reorder the bright grass green one this time. It's bright enough to spot if it's lost at a PO, but it's also a gender neutral color so it won't matter who/where the package is going. Right after I received the assorted color mailers, I had a larger than usual number of buyers with male names. Good thing I didn't get all girly colors

I'm currently using bright blue ones. I think I will keep ordering those if it makes them that much easier to spot.

That's such a good idea...never thought of the color poly-mailers. Where do you get them?

I got mine from corijennin awhile back, they had a special on colored bags and I decided to try the blue.
I like them, it's a neutral color and I think they would be less likely to get lost as they stand out in a sea of white.
