I was a major Ebay slacker today. Sunny and warm weather pulled me out to the yard where I trimmed 5 giant trash cans of Bougainvillea and Esperanza limbs. Cut back more but ran out of trash cans until the trash guys pickup tomorrow.
Was going to take pics but ran out of steam. Just finishing BBQing some chicken breasts and then hopefully will get a second wind to list a couple of things that I have pics.
Or maybe they can wait until tomorrow.

Pictures taken, uploaded to Mac and rotated. Now I'm assigning inventory numbers. Once that's done, I'll go tag the batch and pull 10 to measure and list tonight. I think I'll be lazy and pull 10 very similar items so I can list 'em faster. Now that you mentioned assigning inventory numbers, would you care to elaborate on your numbering system? And anyone else who'd like to chime in and add what works for them would be appreciated. Currently, I'm at a crossroads with so much inventory...and I NEED a good system. To date, I'd just been putting stuff in the XL zippered Ziploc clothing bags by item type. Recently I decided to refine so the smaller, lighter things get bagged in individual clear, self-seal 10" x 15" bags by Upak. They're just stuffed in totes hodge-podge for the time being, but easy to manage at this point because I only have about 40 items done this way. TIA

For the record, I've been pretty busy with pics the past few days now that we got some good sunshine. But, after the effort, I needed a break and didn't get much listed this weekend. I goofed off yesterday afternoon with SO, and am happy to say it PAID me well to do so. :-D
Today I had a big kitchen mess to clean up, after being without hot water for 2 days. Luckily we dodged a bullet with our old heater. The winds were rather gusty and knocked out the pilot light...but SO procrastinated all day before deciding to tackle the problem.
Now I'm quite tired but contemplating a nap so I can re-energize and start listing again because the only thing I managed to sell since yesterday was a Chico's top.

Speaking of burnt out, I don't know if anyone else has ever done this:
I was looking at my emails and somehow thought I forgot to ship something on Friday, it sold on Wednesday. I went into ebay and clicked on "Sold Items" and sure enough, it showed not shipped.
I was just about to send a message to the buyer profusely apologizing, when I realized that the reason I didn't ship it is because she hadn't paid, and still hadn't when I was about to message her.
I think I need to at least take one weekend completely off a month and let my brain replenish.

when I realized that the reason I didn't ship it is because she hadn't paid, and still hadn't when I was about to message her. I can totally relate! Yesterday started out productive but completely fizzled out before I completed the listings I was working on. Oh well. I will try again today. Oh! wait! I did put 1 more thing on Shop-hers for a grand total of 5. Impressive, eh?

I am not even going to try and make up an excuse, I just do not want to list today, don't want to - there is a voice in my head saying "who is going to make me if I don't want to". Pathetic.
I may force myself to do 5. I need to organize stuff thats already listed which is a chore. But, if things get a little disorganized I tend to lose motivation to list more.

Yeah, I gave up shortly after my last posting. I decided to eat strawberry shortcake with lots of whipped cream and watch the Grammys in bed.
I will see what I can accomplish during my work week. If anything, I need to reorganize my eBay room and make a donation or 2.
I did have 6 sales yesterday, so that is a little motivation.

I ended up listing 8 last night. One sold this morning. I am now motivated to list more tonight.

Had another sale today. Therefore motivated to list a few more things tonight. Listed 7, I think.

I was up on and off from midnight to 4 this morning with my son who seems to have been bit by the stomach bug. ICK. He and I shared his twin bed last night. I'm TIRED. I also took the day off of work today to be home with him (I'm letting him stay home to rest).
After I take a short nap to catch up on a couple of zzzzzzz's, I will list more auctions today.
I had 4 sales yesterday, 2 sales already today and a couple of bids.

DH and I have a few errands to run pretty soon, but when we get back I plan on listing until around midnight.
Gotta get it done or I don't get to shop the Presidents Day sale.
