Has anyone tried this site yet?
I sent in a bag for them to list (seller sets the prices) and it has taken too long for them to process so they sent me a refund of the shipping ($8.90). It costs a flat rate of $8.90 to ship a box to them up to 70lbs, and they give you the label to print out. Ship the box, they list on their site, and you set your own prices.
I've shipped and I'm still waiting for my items to go live so I can price them. So far, I don't like that they don't have a way to track your box on their site so you have to make sure you write down your tracking number.

I started another thread recently about this site (I swear I searched the boards and got nothing!) and just ran across this thread started by you. Did anything ever work out for you with this site? Do you or would you continue using it?

Curoious too. It was an eBay ad that led me to them (thanks eBay - way to run people to the competition). They said they had a two month backlog to process inventory though so I still think I'll try CM when I'm done with my clearance sale.

That sounds right. If anyone has used Swap.com before I would really like to hear your experience on if it was worth the wait.

I've sent in 7 boxes so far. The backlog seems to be most often in the spring so right now they are backed up again. (Maybe lots of their staff takes off for the summer?) Box #7 has arrived but has not yet been photo'd & uploaded for me to price.
Box 1 - 119 items, sold 88 Box 2 - 59 items, sold 32 Box 3 - 79 items, sold 35 Box 4 - 84 items, sold 23 Box 5 - 84 items, sold 22 Box 6 - 71 items, sold 5
Very easy, just box and ship. Once they take the pictures it uploads to your seller account and you price it and forget it. When it sells they let you know and about every 2 weeks they make a deposit to my paypal account. Each item gets free storage days before they start to charge a fee. The items that were set to start charging a storage fee in April they extended to June for free. On your inventory page it will tell you how many free days you have left. When it starts getting close to the end they let you know how many 'slots' each item takes up, adult & sets may take up more than 1 slot. If for some reason you want to have items returned to you it is just $4.50 shipping no matter how much you have sent back. Items that are not accepted can be either returned or donated, your choice.
I used to buy lots of clearance kids clothes at Walmart & Kmart to sell on ebay. I've moved away from kids clothes there to do adult clothing & stuffs. The kids clothes were just sitting in my basement taking up space. Swap.com has been a great way to sell those items with little to no effort on my part. I will continue to send them boxes to sell for me. They have also branched out into Maternity and Women's clothing. I don't think they are moving as quickly as the kids clothes, but they are starting to sell there now.
They have 'lost' 2 items of mine - a dress and a pair of tights. Neither was accepted as sellable so they may have mistakenly put it in the donate pile. They are looking into the disappearance. They also have an ebay account.

Looks like they raised their shipping prices. Over-sized shipments will have an additional $14.50 charge applied to the standard $8.90 shipping fee. This fee will be applied to boxes that have any dimension over 20" and weigh over 50 pounds.
Think I already donated all of the kids clothes or I would have tried this out. I just took a car load to GW of DS' clothing yesterday. I have some infant and kid clothes I'm pulling from my store that might be worth experimenting with. It's tempting to send all my DVDs to them just so I don't have to list them myself.
Looks like your average sold have steadily gone down though, would think it would go up as the site got established.

Never mind after looking at how they determine their slots and how they will be charging for slots after August 31 I think I will pass. That could get crazy expensive fast. Of course they do give you 9 months free (though not sure if that is only until their intro offer of Aug 31 or not).
If that free 9 months strorage offer is only good until Aug 31 and anyone that sends in after that has to pay fees right away there is no way I'd send them anything. You'd be paying $50-$100 a month just for them to store your items. They consider a small stuffed animal to take up 5 slots or a pair of kids shoes to take up 2. Then pay 25% fees + $1.50 fee per item sold and paypal fees on top of that?
