But Kritter has a magic expanding house, it takes on all the kittehs who are in true need. She somehow manages to make them all fit and feel loved and safe. We love you Kritter

I think Kritter's house is at the expanding limit now.
I talked with the rescue last night and we are going to give it a try with Tango this morning if I can get her in a crate. I have one that opens from the top so hopefully I can just pick her up and put her in before she knows what is happening.
She may be fine with this experience this morning but I am not taking any chance with her. Any of my other cats except Augie would be easy but I don't know what to expect from her after the pill incident.
When we get there, the two sisters are going to be put in one of the adoption rooms together and see what happens. If they don't recognize each other and Tango gets all huffy, that closes the deal right there. I am not sending 2 cats that may possibly have issues with each other to a new home.
I am really hesitant about this but will give it a try.

I told all my kittehs to cross their paws that things go well and they can find a nice furever home.

Sounds like if you just put the carrier in there with the 2 of them that Sabrina will push her in and shut it.

Sabrina is afraid of Tango. She pretty much stays on top of the totes that are on top on the dresser.
Tango is totally in charge of the foster bedroom now.

Tango is in the carrier, totally pissed, but in the carrier. Congrats on clearing that first hurdle, Kritter. Hope no blood was shed in the process. Bon Voyage and Good Luck, Tango. All you have to do now is sparkle and shine, just like Kritter taught you!

Nope, I took Tango completely by surprise....fastest grab and crate ever.
Tango is adopted with her sister. We put them together and not a sniff, hiss, or growl between them. Tango pretty much laid there in the tent the whole time but at least she wasn't acting like she wanted to kill anything that moved.
Bella needs to go in for grooming so she isn't going back home with them today but they are taking Tango. I left while they were filling out the adoption papers and before anybody tried to get Tango in a crate.

Yay! They're going to their furever home together. I'm so glad that nice couple decided to take both.

Bye Tango & Bella. I hope this one is truly your furever home and the new family loves you lots more than the old idiots did.

Hooray for happy endings. Hope the grooming doesn't result in a "who the heck are you?" reunion at their new home, or if so that they know what it is about.

I was really surprised at how well it went. We put Bella in the enclosure first and let Tango calm down from the ride over. He screamed the whole way and was actually panting by the time that we got there.
After about 15 minutes I put Tango in the enclosure and he just walked by Bella and laid down. Didn't more the rest of the time. I didn't care what he did as long as he didn't hiss, growl, or bite.

Dang. I don't think I've ever had a cat be like that in the carrier (or the car). I've even taken Hootie traveling with me before.

Hey, wasn't Jackson supposed to strut his stuff at the Petsmart this weekend?

Hey, wasn't Jackson supposed to strut his stuff at the Petsmart this weekend? LOL Funny thing about Jackson. Remember when Jackson first came and the shelter had him down as a girl? Well, the rescue couldn't find his paperwork because she kept trying to match up Jackson with male paperwork. She called me the other night to ask if I had the paperwork which I didn't because I gave it to her when she took Jackson. Fortunately, I looked back at Jackson's thread here to see when I picked him up and sure enough, his paperwork was under a female name that the shelter gave him and the only kitten picked up on that date. She could match the kitten picked up that day on her master database. In all the confusion, Jackson never got neutered so he is going in next week for a neuter instead of going to Petsmart. Always a mass of confusion during kitten season keeping track of all the paperwork and who has had what done.

Oh heck yes. Momkat tried to tell them today she is not pleased with them bowling the kittens and they just laughed at her and kept doing it. The kittens love it and it is getting them socialized but poor Mom is going gray trying to keep them corralled. It's like having a pair of 2 yr old kids in the house that have eaten a pound of sugar each.

I'm so glad Tango and Bella are going to be together. I bet the husband took a shine to Tango and just used "couldn't separate them" for an excuse.

When kittens just start walking and are all wobbly they slide like crazy on tile. Bigger cats seem to get a kick out of giving them nudges to set them really sliding. The kittens seem to really enjoy it and keep coming back for more.
