I sold a coat last week. The listing stated the coat ran small and to check measurements. The buyer loved the coat but guess what, it was too small! She's returning. That's not the problem. I have a restocking fee and somehow used 20% for this, I meant to do 10%. The coat cost $649. Should I or shouldn't I?

Well, if you meant to use 10% anyway and it comes back in good order I would send her a note that you have reduced the restocking fee on this item as a courtesy. You may come out looking like the shining star if she was expecting 20%. JMHO

I suspect she didn't even notice it. Who would calmly accept a restocking fee of $130?

I don't think she noticed it either. It doesn't allow me to change the amount. I'm not sure what I'll do yet, I'm leaning towards refunding the whole amount.

Either way - refunding full amount or just keeping a smaller % - you'll look good to the buyer.
Assuming she read, that is.
