It starts tonight and I think I may watch the first episode and check it out. With the herd of critters I have in my house I don't really know about a show that has animals turning on people. I would make a nice buffet for this tribe.

I hadn't heard of it until now.
I usually don't watch shows with animals because it seems to never end well for them. It sounds like the animals may have the upper hand in this show.

It's based on a James Patterson book, but I haven't read it.
TV Guide panned it and gave it 2 stars and said it was like a B-movie, but there isn't anything else worth watching in the time slot so I will give it a shot and check it out.

I've read the book. I didn't realize they had made it into a show.

I do want to watch the show because I honestly think there may come a day when human's have encroached so badly on nature that nature will fight back. Also, it was written by Michael Ledwidge with James Patterson as a co-author. I read Patterson's Alex Cross series and enjoyed most of them. Patterson is a very smart man in marketing. He basically 'pimps' his name out for other authors so they can use his name as recognition. Patterson will write some portions of the book with another author, then rely on his name to sell the books. He gets money, the other author gets money, books sell because of his name. He's gotten criticism for it, but if I had a name that would sell books, I would consider doing the same thing

I'm with Kritter. I can't watch animal stuff if I think the animals will be harmed (even if it is just the story line).

I don't even watch horse races because I am afraid one of them is going to trip and fall.
I saw that happen one time and I have never forgotten that feeling when it happened.
