Key word spamming. THIS came up on my search for "escada silk tie". As did a bunch of other sellers. As a buyer, this pisses me off.

They are getting away with it the same way they got away with having employees bid on their listings. They are a 'super success story' that ebay loves to brag about, so they get away with way too much crap.

They aren't the only one. I searched "escada silk tie" and about half the listings were for other tie brands. I looked, the sellers were KWS. My mouse hand got tired reporting listings last night.
No wonder buyers are leaving the site. They can't find stuff, and when they do get search results, it's not what they asked for because of the KWS in seller listings.

It's very frustrating when you are trying to search for something. I have cut way back on shopping because of it.
But I don't bother reporting anymore. eBay doesn't do anything about it and I'm just not going to waste my time.

I got a couple of scarves from Missoni so in researching it I search completed and then current by lowest and then highest price. Do you even realize how many "Missoni" scarves are listed that are complete KWS? Plenty. they range from having a different brand in the IS to having "style" or "like" in the title. I reported 3 of them and got disgusted. I will just make a price and go with it. If I were a buyer, I wold have clicked off eBay and over to Amazon or Nordstrom PDQ
And, the bigger sellers get away with it because Ebay promotes it for them so there is nothing to report on those banners, and even if there was, they would surely ignore it.

It would be ok if the banner was a graphic, but no, it's html and the brands are searchable. Resulting in serious KWS.

OMG, that's horrifying. I knew I had trouble finding what I want in search --sometimes things come up that have absolutely no relation to what I'm looking for--but that is really inexcusable. I'm glad you're reporting them.

Apparently she gets a pass on selling fakes, too.
She has had fake LV's listed that I reported REPEATEDLY and were never taken down. I notice now that she allegedly has Carol authenticate them. *Yawn*. I hope she initially sends her more photos than what she has in the listing as they are never enough to confirm authenticity.

Has anyone ever purchased anything from Linda's? I was looking at some jewelry she is selling but I'm kind of afraid to deal with her.

Years ago I purchased a dress, it was missing the drawstring tie at the neck which was an integral part of the dress, it was also supposed to be brand new but it smelled terrible. Emailed repeatedly, no response at all. I may have contacted ebay but this was years ago when ebay didn't get involved like it does now. I ended up washing and just putting in a drawstring and I maybe have left neutral or negative feedback, it has been so long I don't remember. That has been my only experience with them, they are on my do not buy from. As Petals said, there has been a lot of talk about them selling fakes and also dirty clothing but I have also heard that some people love them. I think it is a crapshoot.

Wasn't she the one that a few years ago a buyer got pants with blood stains in them. I remember there was a big discussion on the old ebay board about it but it was way to long ago to remember for sure.

An ex-ployee reputedly blogged about " a large ebay reseller" that strongly eluded to her.

I've bought from her a total of 4 times. Pleased 3 times, but the last time ensured I won't again. It sucks that some sellers have a different set of rules.

I bought a coat from them last year. After 2 weeks I hadn't received it so I emailed them, and they apologized and sent it right away. No problems other than that.

A few years ago I purchased something (I think a top) for around $20.00 w/ free shipping and it came in a medium Flat Rate box. That kind of blew my mind, it was a lightweight top-less than 10 oz. The item itself was fine.

I've found a lot of KW spamming lately, she's not the only one. Search is already bad enough, when you add in this there's not wonder my sales stink.

I believe it is a fairly safe bet one would NEVER deal with Linda herself. She has minions. And from what I recall from the former employee expose, is not all that nice to them either.

Wow she is going to get some publicity out of that. Maybe it will give Ebay a boost in views?

I watched it, it wasn't really much to it. About 30 seconds. They mentioned her ID, but didnt' give a link to it so I dont' know how they will find her. Lindasstuff is a 0 feedback id. They said she was the largest consignment seller on ebay with 120 employees.

Yep, her business is huge, well known and she is a lawyer to boot, they won't touch her. Several years ago I called Linda's and I ended up talking with Linda...she was curt and to the point and I am sure she has to be. Purchased one item years ago and was not pleased.

"Fair" condition? Whoever buys those is going to have to get them reheeled.
