I know a little abt art pottery, especially raku & art glass. But if you're talking abt plates & glassware & stuff, no clue.

I have a few books from when I used to have a booth in an antique mall but I don't know if they would help.
I have a book that ids Depressions glass patterns (but those are easy to find online), Cambridge Glass but that is usually or always? marked, a book on American Glassware, and American Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Years, a book on Milkglass.
Yes, pictures would help.

I know a lot about patterned milk glass. (Pyrex, Fire King, Glasbake, Federal, etc.)

Hope to get a chance Tuesday. We got flooded out Saturday night and once it dries I have to put everything back.

Ugh, flooding can create such a mess. I hope nothing important was damaged.

I know just enough about potter and glass to be dangerous. And sorry to hear about the flooding. We had to deal with a flooded basement a couple of years ago. It is not fun.

I acquired quite a bit of beautiful lead crystal. I really wanted to sell some, but alas, I found so much info online (all good and very detailed) that it scrambled my brain and I gave up on the idea. Maybe someday I can sort it out in my brain...

I know Jeannette Glass since I used to work as a computer operator there.
