I only have 20 listings on Tradesy right now. I did not sync my store so I have to do it manually. I sell at higher price point on Tradesy and it seems to be driving people to buy from my Ebay store.
It's nothing outstanding but two of the items I listed on Tradesy sold on Ebay within 24 hours of listing them on Tradesy. One had alot of views on Ebay and one didn't.

Are you the same name on Tradesy as you are on eBay?

Yes, sorry I forgot to add that. Thanks Val
Last time I sold Tradesy it happened too and I didn't use the same id. I think people "in the know" search on Ebay and find the seller.

I noticed prices are higher over there. I'm thinking of using a different name there. I don't think I want those buyers buying on eBay. Haven't decided either way yet.

Sorry I was editing my post above. I do think buyer searches for the item.

I saw several eBay seller names I recognized over there, when I was looking around this morning. I'm seriously thinking of naming the closet there something different. Especially since I hike up some prices on things that appear to sell for more over there.

It is kind of a catch 22, it seems like buyers won't be as likely to shop on Tradesy if they can find the exact same thing on eBay. My Tradesy stuff seems more likely to sell if it's NOT listed on ebay.
But at the same time, listing things on Tradesy only is difficult because there isn't enough traffic yet to really count on it for sales.

As bad as it sounds, I think I may put things that didn't sell on eBay over on Tradesy for a run. While editing my listings there last night, I noticed some brands that are duds on eBay (for me) appear to have better prices/sales there. So maybe that's the way to go. Can't hurt to try, anyway. Oooooh…if a buyer emails about an ended item on eBay, wonder if you can direct them to the listing on Tradesy, if you've moved it over?

I thought the same thing too. Several things I put up over there sold immediately on Ebay. As long as it sells, doesnt matter to me.
FWIW, I had over $200 in sales on each place this weekend. I will take it because that is probably nearly half of my monthly total on Ebay lately.

Wow, mup that's great sales! I use the same name at Tradesy that I use at Shop Hers. Different for eBay. Same manni though so it isn't hard to tell it's me. I had 320 listings transfer over from eBay, selected arbitrarily, I think, by Tradesy. Sold a pair of jeans I've had forever there this weekend so I'm happy. It was a real pain getting those listings in some sort of shape. And their condition terms seem to be more like Shop Hers where you can say that something has no tag but also has no flaws, even though it may have been worn. Many of my "preowned" designations on eBay were uplisted to no tags, no flaws because they don't have any flaws even though they have been worn. In other words, no signs of wear.

I sold another dress last night. The funny thing is I've sold nothing on Tradesy. But like Mup said a sale is a sale no matter where it comes from.
I think just getting my items out there is helping.
I'm thinking of looking into other websites but it is a pia.
I don't think I have any brands Shop Hers will take. I have some vintage stuff but not sure if it's worth an Esty account. But all that is for another thread.

I wasn't sure what to use for my NWOT stuff over at Tradesy. I think I finally made them used/no wear and put NWOT in the description. Over there it's NWT or used, no in between from what I can tell. Cuts down on "NWOT and worn just once!" stuff at least

I've been using No tag/No signs of wear. So some of my "pre-owned" at eBay has even gotten an upgrade. I think they look at it more like Shop Hers does which I think is a better, more accurate way of categorizing than eBay has. I've sold nothing on eBay for 4 days now. So Tradesy certainly isn't helping there. But I've sold 2 on Tradesy now. Very pleased with that. See my other posting about a slow leak of items on Tradesy though. Grrrrr....
