I'm sure you've all noticed all these new detailed designations in USPS Tracking. Well, I saw an odd one today. In EBAY it says:
"NO SECURE LOCATION AVAILABLE" followed a few hours later by "DELIVERED",
which concerned me. What does it mean? They delivered it even though there was no secure location avl? Huh?
HOWEVER, when I went to USPS, the message ACTUALLY says:
"Notice Left (No Secure Location Available)" then followed by the "DELIVERED".
Way to go EBAY, totally different meanings.
Just wanted to give you all a heads up.

If I'm remembering correctly, when they tried to deliver it the first time, they didn't feel there was a safe place to leave it. The home didn't have a front porch or another place to safely put it and they didn't feel it was safe to leave it, and it looks like maybe they held onto it and delivered it later.

Yes, Notice Left (No Secure Location Available) is more clear. There have been other times when something about tracking viewed it from eBay makes me go WTH, but then I go to USPS and it clears it up. eBay gets zero stars for communication.

It's not that I don't understand what it means. The point is that what Ebay says & what the USPS say are totally different & have different meanings. It's not even like they just truncated the message. They took the LAST part of the message & put it into the field.

I thought of you today Zoe when I got a new-to-me tracking status: "Delivered, Left With Individual". Hopefully it was the Individual-with-a-capital-I that it was addressed to.
