We are going to Gatlinburg TN from Wednesday till Saturday. Rather than putting my store on vacation I thought I would change my handling time to 4 days. I think I've looked under every heading in the Account tab and can not find where to change this for the life of me. Also each of my listings states that I have a 1 day handling time. Do I have to edit each listing individually? I list and edit straight from the eBay site.
TIA

You should be able to bulk edit and do it all at once. In bulk edit I think it's Handling Time. On the SYI form it's under Shipping Details.

Yup, bulk edit. I don't know if changing it at the site preference/shipping details will change existing listings or not. But bulk edit will, because I just changed mine.

Got it. The unfortunate thing is that I have my handling time actually written out in each listing. I guess I will have to go in and revise each one. Any ideas on a way to get around this? I like having the quick handling time since it's one of the only things I have going for me. LOL

I would be reluctant to revise my items one by one. Although I have done it. I can't remember why, I just remember doing it. In your case I would probably go with vacation settings and not bother changing handling times. If you'll have computer access and it won't ruin your fun to check in every day, you can message buyers with a reminder of your return date, give them a new ship date, and offer to cancel if that isn't satisfactory.
If that makes you nervous I would turn on the vacation setting that hides listings immediately after I did my last ship before leaving, and turn the lights back on Friday morning since Friday sales wouldn't have to be shipped until Monday. If you ship on Wednesday before you go, then you'll really only be closed for about 48 hours.

You said you will be gone until Saturday and the PO is closed on Sunday. So you need to set that up for 5 or 6 days on TUESDAY night.
Can you add a NOTE... via a BULK EDIT to all your listings at the end of your descriptions in RED reading something vague like this...
NOTE: We are doing inventory from June ___ to June ___ and our next shipping day is Monday June 22nd. We will be listing some exciting new merchandise in the following weeks.
Or... We are attending a Convention from June ____ etc.
And I never put a negative comment in a traveling message such as "sorry for the inconvenience..." as it sounds like I am doing something wrong. lol
Do you use your home address on your return shipping label? If so, I would not put you are not at home but up to you. I have all my mail going to a UPS store mailbox so no buyers have my home address. It is just a security thing with me.
Some sellers get creative if they are only going to be gone a few days and say attending a Seminar or doing inventory... or moving to a new warehouse. Since you only have around 100 listings maybe say attending something verses moving a warehouse. ... up to you.
Have a great trip!!

Why would she need 5 or 6 days? OP does not say if she's able to ship Wednesday or not. But even if she's unable to ship Tuesday's purchases until she returns on Monday that is 4 business days (4 day handling time) at the most. Anything purchased after Tuesday is 3 days handling or less if shipped Monday.

You can use the find & replace, but it's kinda wonky & doesn't always work the way you intended. OTOH, with something like this, where you are just changing the number of days, it SHOULD work pretty well IF (BIG IF) you have the EXACT same text in every listing. If there are minor variations in your text, then it won't work well.

Yup, bulk edit. I don't know if changing it at the site preference/shipping details will change existing listings or not. But bulk edit will, because I just changed mine. With SOME of those, there's an option to apply to your current listings. Not sure if there is on that one.
