I don't want to make this post too long but it is the same buyer as the one I posted in the BBL about the SJ dress. Long story short, she tried to circumvent my "No returns" by claiming SNAD but then she sent a separate message where she said it was a fit issue. I got it closed in my favor.
After I got the email confirmation that it was closed in my favor, I responded to her message apologizing that I could not accept the return because the item did match the listing, but that she was welcome to use my photos if she wanted to resell.
She responded saying that she appealed the case and got a refund. I thought that was odd since I did not receive any communication whatsoever that the case had been appealed, so I'm wondering if she is full of it. Also, if she did get a refund, it did not come out of my account.
I would have gotten some sort of notification if she had actually appealed and won, right? You'd think so, but then again this is eBay and I wouldn't put it past them to surprise me with a defect for 'without seller resolution'.

Sounds like one of ebays "courtesy refunds" because she whined loud enough.
Stupid Ebay!

Even if they gave her a courtesy refund doesn't the seller get notification about it?
She may just be blowing smoke because she is one of those people who just has to win even if they have to lie about it.

That is what I'm hoping, Shirley. Being that she lied when she claimed SNAD, it wouldn't surprise me a bit. She said she was going to give the dress to her mom now that she got the refund, that maybe it would fit her. I think she was just trying to get under my skin.
I've seen sellers say that their buyers got a courtesy refund from ebay so I'm assuming ebay notified them somehow.

I've seen sellers mention that too Odyssey, so I think ebay does send out a notice. And if she did file an appeal you should have gotten a notice about that.
Most likely another lying liar who lies.

I won a case for a false NAD + unauthorized return, but then after a period of time I noticed "$25.00 Not Received"...which was the exact amount of the item. Buyer had appealed the case, and if she won, I have no clue but I was not penalized and there was no $25 taken from me, so maybe she got a courtesy refund? I just dunno ... never got any notices other than the $25 NR on my selling page.
