How do I find out who my "followers" are? I received 2 emails stating I had a new follower, but I don't know where to find them.

Good question! I have some followers too but I really don't know what that means.

Here, you just go to your profile tab and you'll see them.

Ah ha. Found it. On eBay, click on your ID link (up by your FB link), and then about 2/3 down that page you'll see who is following you.

Hmmm, is there any way to remove a follower?
I have one that I absolutely do NOT want following me.

Hmnn. All I see is an option to follow them back.

How interesting...I'd forgotten about checking mine a long time ago. Gained a few new ones...including the "lovely" buyer I won a case against!

Thanks, Val. Yes, I was referring to followers on ebay. Shirley, your comments made me laugh!

Any ideas how to turn followers into buyers? I have 8. A few I recognize as past buyers, the others - I'm not sure. There's got to be a way to capitalize on the interest they've shown.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't "saving" a seller automatically make you a "follower" ? I've saved a number of sellers just for referencing (no emails)...but personally, wouldn't want to start getting unsolicited offers.

No - or at least not yet. I have a bunch of saved sellers (and it still irks me that they took the notes field away - so I could remember why I saved them), but only 2 sellers that I'm "following". I thought they were eventually going to do away with the saved sellers, and roll them over into "following", but so far mine are still separate. I still really have no idea what the purpose of "following" really is. When I follow a collection, I see stuff from it on that Pinterest-like feed (if I ever look at it), maybe "followed" sellers listings show up in that feed too? IDK, as I haven't spent much time looking at that feed, and when I have I've mostly seen stuff from categories I'd picked that I'd want to see. As far as I can tell there's also no way to e-mail or contact those followers, except individually. About half of my followers are boardies, some are past buyers, and yeah - I have one from my BBL there too, the rest I've no idea who they are. And no - as far as I can tell we can't keep people from following us.

EDIT NOTE... ADD NOTE... These are working again in the SAVED Sellers in My Ebay. Have a look for those of you adding a note to your SAVED sellers. Look at your SAVED seller list... more your cursor in the listing under the sellers ID. You can EDIT OR ADD NOTE. YIPPIE!! Every time I go into my SAVED sellers I fill out that TELL US WHAT YOU THINK link and complain about the missing NOTE field. I just notice I can now leave a note... but it looks like I can only fill it in AFTER I save the seller and not at the time I save the seller.

Sherlock, a million LIKES! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I complained about it too, but only once. I figured they were rolling them over at some point so they wouldn't care. I'm glad I can keep my saved sellers - unlike "following" you can save sellers without telling them about it. I keep an eye on local-to-me sellers that way. They may or may not know I exist, but if I "follow" them it'd be like introducing myself. LOL. Off to add notes I couldn't before, if I can still remember why I added them.

Seems like 'followed' sellers means you get their feed, saved sellers you don't get their feed.
I have 112 followers - the DH says I need to build a temple.
ETA: Ooops - kinda old thread. Sorry ::backs out in confusion::
But thanks for the info about the saved sellers, Sherlock!

I have one follower/seller who is in the same city that I am, probably another regular from the bins who has figured out my eBay ID. Everyone else is from here, or aren't sellers, so I gather they are people who purchased from me.

My Followed Sellers ARE my former Saved Sellers & have been for a LONG time (like more than a year, maybe 2). I no longer have Saved Sellers, ONLY followed sellers. I think all they did was change the name of Saved Sellers to Followed Sellers. That was my impression when they made the change years ago & is still my impression now.
ETA: I have Followed Searches (which used to be called Saved Searches) & those are what show up on my main Ebay page/feed, along with anything I have looked at recently.
ETA2: it does look like my Saved Sellers items also show up. But just 1 item. So for example, I have several competitors that I have on my Saved (now Followed) list, I get 1 of their items, then when I look at the one, it tells me she has 30 new items, but it only shows me one.

Well that's really odd. I've always hated that we're all in different "experiences" - mostly b/c we never know what our buyers are seeing. But I still have very specifically different saved sellers vs. followed sellers. So weird.
