I just logged into my Tradsey account and it's completely revised. It's even different than it was two hours ago.
Maybe they're getting closer to importing the Ebay listings?

I am still not imported. But yes they have changed it up. Got an email today too about the changes. If you have not secured the URL for your store (mine is www.tradesy.com/closet/upcycledcouture for example) you are going to want to grab that as well. Once it is taken as a store name it is gone. Looks like they are a bit serious in being competition for Ebay. It is about time. I am guessing they will be going public at some point as well.

Hey mup, I'm trying to create an account and it's asking for my full name. Does that become my visible ID? (Because I'm using a store name if it does.)

They have $44.5M funding from some pretty big venture capitalists, so an IPO seems entirely likely somewhere down the road: www.crunchbase.com/organization/tradesyI like the new format - being able to feature items, highlighting by designer. All steps in the right direction. They still won't let sellers edit the listing title, though.

I'm sure it's probably something super easy but I can't find it for the life of me.

Just to be sure I do this right....signing up as individual, so I should use as first name/last name, my desired ID/store name and not personal name. As in, Jane's Dresses in stead of Jane Doe?

Shop, click the little arrow next to the item (it's in the upper right corner of the picture). That gives you a menu with 3 choices: Feature, Edit, and Remove.

Val/Velvet, that's what I did - put "Ahrncitygal" as my full name when I signed up, but used my real first/last names on the shipping and billing profiles.

That's great mup! I actually wrote to CS yesterday about the professional seller application and they wrote back to say wait a little longer to see if I'm accepted. So will I be able to use whatever name I pick for an individual as my prof seller name too? Can they just switch over the account to prof seller? I'd like to avoid all those what size do you wear kind of things that are so annoying on Shop Hers.

I was doing pretty well on Tradesy right up until they introduced the new format, it's been crickets since then.

My import finally happened today.
Be patient! Someone I know talked to their rep and this is all in beta testing. Meaning, it isnt fully functional and we are guinea pigs. Just keep that in mind.
Some things to know going in are, you will have to make changes to every listing after it imports. Check the shipping rate, especially if you are using calculated shipping. You may need to adjust it. I noticed it isnt doing to HTML correctly in the body. Not a big deal other than on the finished listing there are no line breaks. Something I will fix but it I am not going to rush to get it all done in an hour. It may not import all of your listings. I have seen some say it imported 1000, other who said it just brought in 30. Right now, after the initial import there will be no updating of listing and no more importing. Meaning, they are gong to do the initial import and then it is up to you to keep it synced for now, and add new listings. Once it is fully functional it will sync every 6 hours, so I am told.
Also keep in mind that 1) they take care of all returns. Much easier as a seller. 2) their customer service has been awesome IMO. I know a couple of people have had some bumps in the road but overall I hear great stuff. Very responsive to sellers and buyers 3) they advertise. I saw a commercial on TV for them back in what March?

I have come to the conclusion that Tradesy does not want fat lady clothes on their site.
No email, nothing from them.
The jerks.

Maybe they are just overwhelmed. I've already sent my account guy 3 or 4 emails with questions and I don't consider myself high maintenance. It's going to take a lot to get this big leap for them to work.
