This came up in my garden yesterday. It's nothing I planted and had to have come from a wildflower seed mix that I put in. Gorgeous pink color and leaves have multiple points. I tried the image search in Google and didn't come up with anything.

The blue one is the morning glory. The pink flower - don't know, but it looks like something in the hibiscus family...but like I said, I really don't know.

Yep, the blue one is a morning glory, the garden is full of them.
The pink one came up in the middle of them, it is a plant and not a vine.
It does have the look of a hibiscus, but the leaves are wrong for any hibiscus I have seen before.

Yeah, the leaves threw me too. Sorry I couldn't help. Sure is a nice looking weed flower!

Rose Mallow or Swamp Mallow (sometimes referred to as Hardy Hibiscus around this part of the Midwest.) Depending on the size of the bloom, it could possibly be the related "French Hollyhock", but I'm pretty sure it is Swamp/Rose Mallow. They are annual but reseed themselves(almost as perennial as a perennial around her.) They grow to be a good size bush, but completely die back to the ground. If it is healthy, you will have those huge flowers all over a bush of it for most of the summer.

Thanks Velvet, I knew I had seen it before but couldn't remember what it was called.
I love the color and it has lots of buds on it. Found another one coming up in a different part of the garden. So I should have lots of blooms from them for the season.
I really like having mystery stuff pop up like this.

I agree it's a mallow. I looked at the photo, scrolled down & saw that Velvet had already identified it.

Another vote for mallow, aka malva. I had them in my garden after using a wildflower seed mix. I also got cornflowers and shirley poppies. I love them both.
