Has anyone noticed the tiny little announcement about USPS increases effective 5/31? I was surprised...usually we get more time. Priority doesn't change, but FC does
Here is a summary of the average price change, listed by category. Priority Mail – no changes Priority Mail Express – no changes First Class Packages – +5.1% Parcel Select – +8.0% Media Mail – +2.3% First Class Package International – +7.2% Priority Mail International – +6.8% Priority Mail Express International – +6.7% USPS Tracking for Media Mail is now free -

First Class Package International – +7.2%
Priority Mail International – +6.8%
Those are big jumps for anyone selling internationally. Going to make for some unhappy buyers.

Since the last international raise I don't get many sales. I always got a lot. The prices are so high.
Now is that our first class? If so I will have to up my prices. I try to keep them down so I don't get dinged. I took out my handling fee. I lose money shipping some things.

US first class is going up over 5%, so if you have a flat rate FC shipping you will want to bump up your prices to reflect the new rates. If you are calculated you won't have to do anything, ebay will adjust it for you. Pretty soon it will be almost as cheap to just do priority only on most items if they keep creeping up FC rates.

Very true, my 11-13oz pkgs with handling are close to the PFRE price anyway.

Is there a way to bulk edit first class items?

Just bulk edit like you normally would but pick the items with f/c shipping. Somehow I've been switched to a view in selling that shows the gallery pic, but also shows the shipping. So if you have that view, you'd just pick those items to bulk edit.

So, I went to ship my packages today to beat the rate increase -- already paid for postage.
My PO's parking lot was blocked off because they were resurfacing it. Couldn't even get to the building!
Sooo, drove halfway across town to the next one. Got there and their lot was closed for resurfacing, too!
I went in the wrong way and was able to put my poly mailers in the mailbox but of course couldn't fit my one box in there. Pooey!
There was no notice of it, either.

Phooey, I didn't think about shipping on Saturday to beat the price increase and just shipped 6 items at the new cost where they buyer paid the lower cost. Oh, well, glass half full view, I shipped a lot of packages this morning!
