I have an ever growing stack of vtg clothes. I'm getting really fed up with the lack of traffic on Ebay. Granted, I have practically nothing listed, but even when I did have more, I barely had any activity. And now with the fee change, I'm even less motivated.
One of the reasons I am hesitant, is that I am never sure about pricing. I don't have a store and I mostly do auctions mainly b/c I'm always thinking that if I list FP, I will undercut myself. On the other hand I'm always thinking if I list high it wont sell.
Also, I don't have the patience to learn all the nuts and bolts of a new venue.
To give an example...I have a vtg 60's Lilly dress (size Large) The completeds are all over the place. I'm thinking it would be better on Etsy, or maybe I'm wrong?
Thanks for opinions.

Do it! Listing on Etsy is simpler than Ebay - you only get 5 photos, don't have to bother with templates or text formatting or any of that hoop-de-doo. It's still a good place to sell vintage, despite the changes in the marketplace.

Yeah, I agree. It's still working in spite of what the old-time Etsy sellers are saying to the contrary. As far as pricing, you just have to wing-it. Do research on eBay and Etsy, then set a happy price and see what happens. Listing is pretty easy and they FINALLY got a shipping calculator (yippee!!) that makes shipping 100% easier than before. You should give it a try; you can always come here with questions.

Go for it! It's only 20 cents for 4 months for each listing. I don't have a lot of vintage, but sell some handmade things. One of these days I'll try to do more with this site, but I like it. Easy to list and ship there.

Thanks all. I'll try it and see how it goes, but I already have questions which I put in a new post.
